"Im currently 14 and i went here around a few months ago, the only good thing about this place was the staff, i wasnt allowed to even look at patients in the eyes. It was cold, scary and the food was cold. this place has been one of the most horrible experiences ever."

"About 15 years ago now but I remember being yelled at to be woken up to take medication, being told I'd see a therapist but never did, and leaving the place more traumatized than I went it. This was when I was around 10 and still have nightmares. In 14 days they managed to cause lasting trauma."

"Five stars would have been given if they had seen the abuse my mom was giving me when I was transferred here when I was 5 (20, almost 21) from Highland in Charleston due to their abuse. Ratings: Food: 7/10. They weren’t very receptive on the fact that I was allergic to Pure Vanilla and Madagascar Vanilla. Constantly got no dessert with lunch/dinner because they were too careless to swap Vanilla yogurt with Strawberry or something. Room: 10/10. Loved my room. Never had a roommate, but got to decorate it with colored pictures. Therapy: 6/10. had group therapy and 1:1. As well as being in an anger management class. Could have been better if they actually let us speak. Outside communication: 9/10. they let us have three phone calls a day. It would have been better if they had a schedule of times and a call log. Activities/leisure: 10/10. Being the energetic five year old I was, going outside was my favorite time of the day. Or the art room. TV wasn’t my thing so I just watch whatever was on. Discharge: 3/10. They sent me home with my abusive mother after me expressing multiple times I didn’t want to go home with her. They weren’t receptive to my pleas for help. I was here for three months."
