Walmart Pharmacy 2717 Georgia 54, Peachtree City, GA 30269

"Made an appointment for the updated moderna covid shot + flu shot combo at this Walmart pharmacy for 1pm on Saturday, 9/29. As this was the closest Walmart with the moderna vaccine, I made my appointment there despite it still being 30-35 minute drive from where I live. On that Saturday, I made sure to leave my house with plenty of time to make it to my pre-scheduled appointment. However, on my way there, I unfortunately ran into significant traffic due to an accident on highway 54. I immediately decided to call the pharmacy to notify them I'd be running a few minutes late and that I wanted to know if that'd be fine. The pharmacy employee who answered the phone heard me out, asked for my complete name, and then she proceeded to say, "OK, that's fine, I'll let the pharmacist know. See you here." Upon finally arriving at the Walmart store at 1:08pm, I'm called by the pharmacist on the phone as I'm literally walking to the counter to tell me she's canceling my appointment completely and that there's no other available appointments for another 2-3 hours. I'm completely astonished by this news as I had been specifically told over the phone that it was fine if I was few minutes late. When trying to tell the pharmacist this, she very rudely cut me off with a disgusting attitude & repeated she would not take me in as there was not enough time. Completely unprofessional manner of conducting herself and communicating with me. I understand I was a few minutes late, but I was specifically told over the phone by a pharmacy representative that this would be fine...so I continued my long drive over there. Had I been told over the phone that I would need to reschedule, I would have certainly understood. However, this was not what I was told, I was assured that I'd be perfectly fine. Neither the pharmacist or the personnel could care less about what I was trying to tell them. This absolutely ruined my day as I was not going to be able to schedule for 2-3 hours later in the day due to prior commitments. Either way, after being treated like complete trash by these people, I had at this point decided I would never step foot in this Walmart pharmacy ever again. Let alone allow them to put a needle in me. I'll be getting my vaccines at CVS!"
