"Lakeside Pharmacy is a family business of hardworking, honest and trustworthy people! The manager and his staff showed us care, kindness and professionalism. This reflects highly on the integrity of this company. Thank you guys for all of your help!"
"We love Lakeside Pharmacy! We can text the Pharmacist, Ashley who promptly texts back!! AND scripts are delivered! This crew is super helpful and gives exceptional care to patients!"
"Refreshing! Do you miss a time when businesses would go above and beyond because that’s what they are supposed to do?! Well, let me tell you, you FINALLY found a place that still does that. From the moment I first called this place, I have been treated with upmost respect and given the best customer service I have received in a long time. They don’t just seem to care, they DO care. Businesses learn: I will pay whatever elevated price you need so that you can compensate your good employees appropriately. Thank you."
"Lakeside is the best. Always has great customer service and go out of their way to make my kids happy as well with ring pops. Very helpful with prescriptions and they always work hard to fill my family’s prescriptions quickly. These are all reasons I choose them over the chains and even drive out of the way or choose not to go through a drive through. Top notch pharmacy!"
"I’ve filled with this pharmacy before, but since there’s been a national shortage on my particular medication, I’ve had to fill at other pharmacy’s when Lakeside was out of supply in order to have my medication. I recently called to refill this medication and to tell them I was interested in becoming a regular patient with them now that proximity wasn’t an issue. The pharmacist checked her system and got back on the phone to confirm they have my medication in stock, but she will not provide me the medication because I haven’t been filling the medication with them on a monthly basis and had been filling at different pharmacies. I explained I had only filled at the other pharmacies because Lakeside was out of stock (which is a well-known problem given a 6 month national shortage on this medication). She then proceeded to tell me she needed to save it for her regular clients because “some of them really need it and have gone months without it.” I replied I had already expressed my interest in becoming a regular client and, I too, have gone nearly two months without being able to find the medication. Her response- “yep, sorry.” Her attitude was aggressive, attacking, and lacking in compassion for individuals trying to take needed medications. She had the medication and although I’d expressed that if they demand I move all my prescriptions to them to please help. She refused to provide a needed medication without real cause. Don’t pharmacist take an oath to do no harm? I’m not sure if this type of almost extortion-type behavior is illegal, but it is without a doubt unethical and callous beyond measure. Her boss called me back and “I explained my confusion on the legitimacy of denying my fill request, and he said a new rule came out last week that you had to have 6 months of consecutive fills with them. How is that possible for a new patient to do? Especially if Lakeside is incapable of filling the prescription because of lack of inventory. He did not respond, and literally said I”m on the naughty list and he won’t be filling any prescriptions with me. I laughed and told him there wasn’t any reason to be so rude, and not to worry- who would want to work with a company that treats potential new clients like this? I’ve worked in retail for years and could not IMAGINE speaking to customers that way. Depraved and dishonorable behavior."
