About Us
The Clay Spot is a Paint Your Own Pottery Studio located at 2401 Dawson Road in Albany, Georgia, United States. With over 20 years of creativity in the community, we offer a fun and unique experience for all ages. From figurines to mugs, piggy banks to picture frames, our ever-changing inventory provides something for everyone. Our knowledgeable staff is here to assist you as much or as little as you'd like, so even if you don't think you're an artist, think again!
Simply choose your piece, select your colors, and start painting. Our prices are all-inclusive, so you only pay for your pottery plus sales tax. Once you've finished painting, your piece will be clear glazed and fired in our kiln, reaching over 1700 degrees in a 7-hour process. After it's done, we'll wrap and bag it for you to pick up within a week.
You can paint with us anytime Wednesday through Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm, and no reservations are needed. Whether you're looking for a fun activity or celebrating a special event, The Clay Spot is your go-to destination for creative fun. See you soon!
