"They don't verify insurance until the day before your appointment. The lady who verifies called me the day before my scheduled appointment to make me aware that she needed my x rays that were done just a few months ago. I gave her the name of the provider and she said she would reach out to them. Only to follow up the next day a few hours before my appointment to hear she never was able to touch base with them and I would need to pay for new x rays. I called Aspen Dental without any issues and spoke with someone, the staff informed me it could take up to 2 business days to receive the xrays. When I made Austell Cosmetic Dentistry aware, the lady was like "Oh, you were able to speak with someone? I had to leave several messages." I find that hard to believe bc I spoke w. someone right away. No I am not paying for Xrays that I already have and as a patient, how is it beneficial to me that you waited to verify my insurance and request records 1 day prior to the appointment when I initially booked more than 2 weeks ago? It just doesn't make sense. The lady didn't even have the courtesy to call me back to let me know she was not successful at obtaining the records. I just happened to call! Meaning when I arrived to my appointment today, they would have tried to charge me for X-rays all over again. I can tell she's an AA woman by her demeanor. We have to show better professionalism as a whole bc this is how we present ourselves (angry and problematic). You will not talk over me. You will not charge me for something I already had done. You will not blindside me with unnecessary charges nor waste my time. I cancelled my appointment and booked w/ another provider. RUN!!!!"

"My very first appointment was quick and easy. The staff was extremely nice,warm, and welcoming. Everyone I encountered from the first point of contact to the very last point was extremely professional and kind. The staffs chemistry was awesome you can tell they love their job and working with one another(if they don’t they fooled me. That was just my consult visit. I was scheduled 3 weeks out to come in to get the necessary dental work done which was discussed at my initial visit. However, a spot opened up before then and the office contacted me and offered me a sooner appointment. I was so happy because I was anxious and ready to get the work done and over with. I must go on record and say I am extremely scared of needles but to my surprise I wouldn’t be burdened with it. After the Dr. Numbed me using some type of magic spray she administered the needle as I waited patiently to feel the dreaded pinch. I felt ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.(I’m not sure if she used cocaine or voodoo but either way it worked ) The Dr. Talked me through the procedure. She even sang while she worked. And she kept me calm cool and collected. I also truly appreciate her perfectionism in regard to color, size and fit of my tooth. Overall this was the greatest dentist I’ve ever visited in my life. I appreciate this office and will never go to another dentist again. Thank you so much Austell Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr Haley and Jayme were a power team and made the visit so easy and I’m so appreciative."
