"I truly cannot say enough good things about the staff here. My oral hygiene was a mess years ago. And, while I had a Dentist working within my means to slowly correct it-- after she retired, I had the misfortune of the next two Dentist and their Hygienist being so condescending and apparently disgusted with my mouth (as though I don't have to live with it) that I hadn't even bothered trying another Dentist for so much as a cleaning in 5 or 6 years. So, I knew the hole I'd already dug my-self back then I was trying to get out of was far worse by now. I feel that I was very lucky to have ended up with Jody as my Hygienist. She is very kind and personable, and her experience shows greatly in how effortlessly she explained everything, and completed everything. As well as her efficiency in doing so. She is also very understanding that people can only do what they can, and make the best with what they have. She genuinely wants to help you. I don't think I have ever been to a Dentist that starts their patient, client relationship with a full on consultation or whatever they would call my first visit. But, it should really be an industry norm in my opinion-- and, if you also have a nightmare going on in your mouth, you'll love it. At previous Dentists, I always felt like there was a mystery of 'what's next' or 'how much is left'. This first visit they got a full scope of the mouth, and we put together a plan to tackle everything. I was provided estimates for how much everything would cost in total. While I have really gotten my life together these last couple of years (as well as a nice dental insurance) and was able to agree to the first estimate provided, it was very clear that they absolutely would have worked within my means if necessary. I am genuinely excited to come back to have everything done and not regularly be stressed that my teeth are all going to crumble and fall out-- and then what??? And, it will be so refreshing to not be embarrassed by my teeth every time I open my mouth to talk."
"By far the worst experience I've had with a dentist. Moved here from Utah to East TN, discovered my youngest daughter had some cavities. I also discovered that many east TN dentists don't do laser dentistry, which is a procedure that is efficient, cost effective and comfortable for the child. We had a great dentist back in Utah who utilized laser dentistry and my oldest daughter's experience was exceptionally good with him. So, we wanted to provide the same experience to our youngest. I contacted Chattanooga Dental Care and was told they do perform laser dentistry and were very clear they can help my daughter. I was thrilled. However, their facility was 2 hours away, but as a dad you do anything for your kids. The staff at Chattanooga Dental Care clearly stated they can help my daughter, despite her age and cavities. The day I was driving there for our first scheduled appointment, thankfully I called while driving because I was informed, they weren't even doing the procedure, just doing a checkup and some x-rays. I wasn't going to drive two hours for that. I inquired why, because just a few weeks ago she already had x-rays at another dentist. They can obtain the results from there. They preferred their own x-rays. I asked if this is safe being just a few weeks apart, they never answered that. Regardless, I said OK then I we'll have to reschedule another day. We headed home. On our next visit (today), after driving two hours there, my four-year-old wouldn't sit in the seat long enough to take the x-rays, and the staff informed us that they'll just have to acquire the x-rays from the other dentist. What?!? So, we had to sign a release form, contact the other dentist, and get her x-rays. We waited. Why didn't we do this before? We then inquired if she offers some struggle during the procedure will that be a problem. They stated no. They will provide her a drink to sedate her a bit, and we said OK. Then, they review the x-rays and tell us they can't do it because the cavity is too deep. Can't we just get this over with and perform then the standard method using Novocain? No, they told us to go back to our previous dentist. Needless to say, I was not happy. We drove back home for two hours with nothing accomplished! Empty promises, and incompetence from the staff. They couldn't even address my insurance properly, despite having no such issues with other medical clinics. Had they just listened to me when I requested, they contacted the previous dentist to get the x-rays, I could have saved myself the aggravation and time loss driving 4 hours!"
"I absolutely dread going to the dentist , just from past experiences. The staff here did amazing making me feel relaxed and I couldn’t have been more comfortable. In total after my next visit they will have removed 11 teeth that unfortunately couldn’t be saved and I have no fear going to have everything finished. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone especially if you have a fear of dentist. They are absolutely amazing"
"I am honestly speechless! I don’t have enough good things to say about this place! I went into my cleaning appointment terrified! With a list full of horrible dental experiences from the past, I was truly petrified to come in. Once getting there, everyone was beyond kind and reassuring throughout the entire process. Rebekah did my cleaning and made sure to communicate & explain everything she was doing. She frequently checked on me and made sure to assure me I was doing a great job! This was the best dental experience and I was quick to book my next appointment! If you have a fear of the dentist, go see these sweet people. They will make sure to take the best care of you!"
"I was referred here by another dentist, for a crown replacement, and cleaning being a little anxious from a previous experience, l didn't know what to expect..but it was the best experience! Every one made it comfortable and easy. I had the best hygienist and dentist experience ever they are excellent l recommend them and have found my dental care provider for future care."
