"Needs urgent renovations. We paid too much for what we got, but at least we paid less than $100 the night. Breakfast was pitiful and we got a fridge plugged between the bed and the wall. Ridiculous. Been in many hotels and that was a first. Please! No more rip offs. People work hard to travel and get home safe and well rested. If u don't want to renovate and offer good quality charge less :("
"Beds were comfortable after we got rid of the sugar ants. Staff were nice and courteous. Always check out the bathroom in the rooms first. tiny bugs all over the sink and by phone on night stand."
"If you know that feeling of walking into a hotel room and just feeling dirty then you understand. Nasty carpet, the smell was horrendous, thank God I brought lysol, but nothing covered the smell. If a hotel is pet friendly than don't have carpet in rooms and offer non pet rooms to guest who don't enjoy the smell of dogs."
"We stayed at the Microtel and it was a great experience. We travel often with our dogs and unfortunately not too many places allow dogs and the ones that do many times are not great. For our surprise after reading bad reviews for the microtel we found out that this is a very small great hotel to stay the night. The beds were great and comfortable, the place was clean and cute. The rugs were clean, we wanted to thank the microtel for a great economic stay where our dog babies were accommodated properly"
"Wonderful place to stay. Beds were comfortable Some stain on the carpet that another animal had done. But we were very grateful for the hotel allowed us to bring our little dog during hurricane Idalia in Perry Florida."
