Sunbrook Academy

"My daughter has attended Sunbrook for about 8 months now. My initial complaints were the turn over rate of staff, lack of communication, and too many inconsistencies. That has changed and we love Sunbrook now. At 16 months it was her first time being away from family, so she had an extremely hard time adjusting. The staff would move her from room to room due to her crying so much, but no one would tell me a thing even if I were to ask. I can only assume she was disruptive in the class, which is okay if you communicate it with the parents so we can work to find or discuss your solutions. Another thing is that there would be a different face greeting us each morning,too many unfamiliar faces for her. It was like leaving her with a stranger over and over again. And the inconsistent staff weren’t able to update us on her day. Months later she’s learned to love a couple teachers and just when that happens they are no longer employed there. Shes been with the same teacher for awhile now and I hope she never leaves! My previous complaints no longer exist when a consistent teacher is there. Now that she’s 2 (24 months) she loves going and is excited about all of the activities. She can count, sing and dance to every nursery rhyme, has clear speech, names majority of things all before she turned 2. My only complaint or more so a disappointment is that they do not assist with potty training. This makes it difficult for us at home when she spends majority of her day at daycare, other than that this is a great facility."

"Our almost three-year-old daughter has been coming to Sunbrook Academy at Luella for about eight months and we could not be any happier!! All the staff members here are outstanding! Brooklyn LOVES her teachers (so do we!) and we're thrilled with the progress she's made in the short time she's been here. Truly, from one overly-protective parent to another, if you're looking for a great place to send your kid(s) where they'll be safe, have fun, make friends, AND learn—you have to check out Sunbrook Academy!"

"My son has attended here since he was 6 1/2 months old. In his 13 months on this earth, he’s never been left with anyone (excluding my mom) but I leave him with these ladies every day without a care or any anxiety. He received so much love in Infant A with Ms Eboni as a baby who’d never been without his mommy. That same care was transferred when he moved to Infant B with Ms Kathy. These classrooms provide such a safe space for my son. The leadership of Octavia, Meredith, and Nicole is outstanding. They maintain a clean facility and are super responsive to any concerns. If you’re in the this area, I recommend this facility without reservation. Let your baby(ies) grow and thrive here."

"My goal was to work here and see what was going in on the inside, and all I can tell you is TAKE YOUR CHILD SOMEWHERE ELSE! They will allow teachers to disrespect and talk down on your children l, isolate your children, and treat your children different just because they are a bit more difficult than other children. They are messy, unprofessional, and unpleasant individuals. Do with what you will with this information but this center is all about the money."
