"Beautiful place to visit the Okefenokee for the first time. There are boat rides, informative displays, a cafe, gift shop, picnic pavilions and hiking trails. Our favorite is the canoe launch allowing for access to the swamp itself!"

"This is a great place to visit while in the Swamp. The people are very helpful here, and a funny moment was when I met the lass whom I had spoken to on the phone one day earlier. The visitor’s centre includes a gift shop, a theatre with a fantastic informational video, an animatronic bloke who annoys the workers but gives good information, and many other educational and instructive items. One may become a junior ranger here, fill their water bottle, or interact with other park goers or volunteers/NWR employees. Would recommend a stop for sure."
