"the man over security is awful and theres still a guard working there that threatens people. i wont let this go and if they think i will they have another thing coming. dangerous security guards and an awful security boss."
"I was transferred here last year in January when Sharpe Hosptial in Weston had to relocate me due to my abusive ex getting committed on a 5150. I will say that this place was much better than Sharpe. Ratings: Food: 3/10. I mean the food was basically the same as Sharpe, stuck to eating a lot of chef salads during my stay and the canteen stuff. Room: 9/10. Would have gotten 10/10 had it not been for the fact I got eaten alive by something every time I took a shower. They accommodated me well by moving me into another room when I stated that I was uncomfortable being in a room with another pt. Activities/leisure: 9/10. Would have been better if they would stick to the tv/movie sign up sheet done at the beginning. Arts and crafts was my favorite thing. Crocheted three blankets there. Group & Individual therapy: 2/10. All we got was group therapy and a useless therapist that didn’t even want to do 1:1 sessions. Safety: 10/10. The safety of pts and staff is their number one priority. They try to ensure everyone’s safety. I was switched into a single room when I expressed the discomfort being in my room with my roommate due to her random (extreme as well) breakdowns. I was also on 1:1 (someone constantly beside me) to ensure my safety of myself. Medication/medical: 8/10. Daily schedule said meds were at 7:30am, 12pm, 5pm, and 9pm. Most of the time my meds were 9am, 1pm, and 10pm. (No 5pm med). They did take me to the hospital when I dislocated my collarbone when I got shoulder checked by someone just for being a woman. Nighttime/lights out: 9/10. Was great minus that they never followed the lights out thing. Lights out was supposed to be 11pm. Never happened. Constantly woken up at 2am by someone wanting to talk to me. Outside Communication: 10/10. This place made sure that we got phone calls. We got to talk to respective people five times a day for fifteen minutes. Discharge: 10/10. This place is amazing with discharge planning. The social worker and doctor were originally going to discharge me on February 11,2022, but I expressed that I didn’t feel like I was ready to go home. That I wouldn’t feel safe, as I’m alone for 85% of the day for five days a week. They listened to my concerns and pushed my date further away to April 9, 2022. The social worker was kind and patient. He communicated with my family well. Overall, if you get committed involuntary or mental hygiene section, be adamant in going here. Don’t let them send you to Sharpe. That place sucks. No communication with family there."
"While you are committed to bateman, someone will rig the electricty in your home to shock you. The high temperatures from thr electricity will singe the hairs in your ears and they will start gaslighting you with a script of "hollywood voice actors" via the tools made for the hearing impaired. They are putting arsenic in the zyn citrus and smooth 6mg, cherry pepsi, doctor pepper and sunkist. The entire hospital needs to be shut down and the employees need criminal charges"
"I cannot say enough good things about Mildred-Bateman. First, let me say that my friend that is a patient there is a homeless girl who had nothing except the clothes on her back. Mildred Bateman’s personnel, from the guard, to the nurses, to the doctors, to the social worker, to the janitors, have been exceptionally caring. They have exceeded my expectations times ten!!! I’ve been there for visits, and it’s a very clean facility, and the personnel are all happy. They truly care about my friend ….. who most wouldn’t have given the time of day to. WOW is all I can say. Thank you Mildred-Bateman ….. for having a staff that goes above and beyond!!"
"It is a very nice facility to get help, although sometimes the staff can be a bit cruel and rude. It's my favorite place to go whenever I need help. It's very well organized, but I believe the staff on unit 4 need to be trained to deal with mental/drug abuse patients."
