"Why the store opens at 6 am. But there are no cashiers only self checkout at 7 am in the morning is baffling to me."

"Only taking one star off due to the extremely poor customer service delivered by Robert in the self checkout. My mother and I were purchasing groceries for a family dinner this weekend, and she purchased a bottle of wine. Of course she knew she was going to be IDed so she pulled out her concealed carry permit, to which Robert asked her for a “real ID”. My mom very calmly said “that is a real ID sweetie,” and then Robert abruptly told her to calm down and said “I don’t know about that.” I think if we are going to have employees help take care of guests within the self checkout, they must be well trained and knowledgeable, and if a question arises they should be nice, not snarky and defensive. This is all coming from a young women in customer service herself. Disappointed Kroger."

"Poor customer service - deli department. The employee was apparently annoyed that I ordered one item at a time. I added items when she finished each previous item as I was looking in the deli case to decide on my selections. She clearly and emphatically redressed me and instucted me to present all items at once when I approach the counter. I have had a lifetime of deli experience, and am aware of regulations for wrapping and slicing. There were no other clients waiting for service, and I was treated in a rude and condescending manner. Perhaps you should consider sending trainees over to Publix for customer service training! dcoservicespecifically.and emphati ally redressedme for"

"Super clean store. The employees here are so nice and helpful! I used to always grocery shop at Walmart because of the cheaper prices, but lately I’ve been going to Dawsonville Kroger more just because it’s an overall better experience. Prices on some things may not be as cheap as Walmart, but they make up for it with their positive attitudes, OPEN REGISTERS, and people to help bag your groceries for you. Also I will say that their produce is much more fresh and lasts longer than Walmarts. Oh and they have a Starbucks so I can sip on my drink while I shop.. That’s a winner itself!"
