"Several basic restaurant rules were violated during our first visit to this restaurant chain. When we arrived at 6:05 on a Friday night, we were told it would be a one hour wait. It ended up being 95 minutes. When it comes to wait times, always under promise and over deliver. Worse then the long wait was the fact that many people who arrived after us, or who complained, got seated before us. The host was sympathetic, but acknowledged that this was happening. That’s just insulting. We got a nice booth, and our server Briana was pleasant. However, it took 20 minutes to get our drinks. Then our entree’s arrived before we even received our appetizer of shrimp. This was after I was asked to confirm that we ordered a shrimp appetizer 5 minutes after we placed our orders. At that point, we told her to skip the appetizer. The correct response would have been, “ let me hit that for you and comp the appetizer. Also when we were seated by the host, I asked him what he would recommend. He said the food was fabulous but the only thing he could afford was the bacon cheese burger. When I asked him about the bison short ribs, he said his girlfriend’s father raved about them. Seriously, management needs to make sure the staff has sampled everything on the menu so they can make recommendations based on first hand experience. This is restaurant management 101. I had the bison short ribs, garlic mashed, and carrots. The food could have been hotter but was outstanding. My wife had the planked salmon, garlic mashed and broccoli. She was also pleased. We skipped dessert as we had already been at the restaurant for 2 1/2 hours. Honestly, I don’t know if I would return. The food was good but the service was abysmal."

"This was our first visit. The food was good, a bit over-priced for the portions. Staff was friendly and professional. Dani was our server and she was great. We didn't try one of their steaks this time but maybe that's what they're more known for. Overall, I would come back."

"Very nice and clean! Great food and service. I had to try the bison meatloaf sandwich, best I have ever had! Love the taste of the meatloaf, it came with fries and a salad. The place is clean classy and the atmosphere is cozy. Love the fries, they were not greasey. Service was wonderful Brandie did a great job."

"Food and service was amazing! I ate so much! The place is clean and comfortable , server was friendly and accommodating. We ate naked Chicken with Kale salad and Red Rock “Bison burger” with fries and onion rings. We were a party of 2 and the waitress did an amazing job getting us food at the same time. The place wasn’t too busy. My husband and I left full and ready to continue our journey to Texas. I would def recommend friends and family to go here for a nice evening outing. I love visiting Tallahassee!"

"Tallahassee, FL. Warm wood booths with black leather seating, dressed-up welcoming and professional servers, Country Western music, awesome flavors to everything. “This is a FINE burger,” observed my husband, “and the bacon is real good, too,” he added (he ordered the Ted’s bacon cheeseburger with no onion and tomato on the side). Fries are made fresh on site and weren’t greasy. Best blue cheese dressing ever! Chicken Skinny Dip was excellent; well-flavored grilled chicken breast topped with avocado with kale salad and tomatoes on the side. Kale salad came lightly veiled in a delicious homemade vinaigrette. The person who greeted us in the black shirt said all the dressings are made in house and was clearly pleased to be associated with the restaurant. Our server Ian was also the perfect blend of attentiveness, amiability and cheer. Both invited us back. The bar area was jumping today with what looked to be a college-age group (Wednesday, 11/8/23 2:15 pm). Vintage paintings of Wild West and Native American scenes hung over the booths in the main dining room. The rustic surrounds with the excellent service meant we relaxed and had a good time. Highly recommend!"
