"Original Review at the bottom: (This edit Jan, 2024) Ok, I have given this restaurant too many chances. This was a restaurant we would come as children growing up but it has throughout the years gotten worse and worse. We have found hairs in the food and other things and promised to ourselves to not come back but have given this place many second, third, fourth chances....but tonight really was the last and I hope others can follow suit and not come here. We found three huge roaches when we were sitting down. One came out of under their fridge and two from under their kitchen door. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!! I don't know how this place is still open, this was once a staple of our town but instead of keeping the place clean and inviting for nostalgia they keep raising the prices, worsening the food and having a nasty place to eat and Lord knows how it is in the kitchen where we can't see.....avoid this at all times Original Review from childhood:I've come here a couple times a week for the past 6 years. That's says something, great place for lunch and dinner and cheap prices. Waiters are Ok, I've has better waiters but I come for the food so it's worth the trip"

"They served us shrimp that was not deveined and when we ask about it we were told when they get the shrimp they have to peel fast and don't have time to devein the shrimp. Told us that's how they always cook shrimp everyone knows."

"I've eaten here 6 times and every single time totally awesome. I drive and cycle, and the front desk actually remembered me from a lunch takeout when I came up but I wasn't cycling that day and not wearing my 4ed helmet lol. The atmosphere and food outstanding."

"It's true not to judge a book by its cover!!! The food is fresh and delicious. The service is excellent as well t h e staff is helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is pretty old but that might be the reason for such reasonable prices. Visiting and found a new treasure when my husband and I return."

"The place is old. BUT don't let that scare you off, the food and service was great . My server Graciela was awsome. The food is hot and fresh. But what I liked the most is that the whole buffet area has been sealed off. So that nobody can touch or breath on the food. They have a server back there and she was very nice. She gives you what you want and as much as you want. All the staff were wearing a mask and the people were seated far apart from each other. Even though the place is old it is very clean. It was a very pleasant eating experience and I felt very safe eating there."
