"Had the "World Famous Pork Chop Sandwich" and could only eat half of it. I do eat smaller portions. Great smokey taste with the hickory sauce. Great little BBQ joint off the main path, check them out."

"Looking for authentic home made BBQ Ribs, and was delicious, tender ribs and BBQ crunch with home made sweet BBQ sauce, at the side. Coleslaw with a creamy flavor and beans are sweet with BBQ flavor. Very clean restaurant. The service was great, friendly and received the correct order. Totally recommend and will be back again."

"I had 13th Street BBQ cater my retirement party. What a great experience. With all the stress of family and friends coming in town, this was a great decision. First my friends and family loved the food. Everything was amazing! Second the next day when I asked everyone where they wanted to eat, they ALL chose to finish the leftovers, yes it was that good! Would highly recommend, and will have them at my next event."

"Best Q in Alabama. Get the slab sandwich with slaw but no sauce, then experiment with the 3 sauces provided at the table. The Brunswick stew is good. They have a "world famous" pork chop sandwich which can be great, but it can be dry. When it's moist & tender it's also outstanding. They have good tea, but if you don't prefer it "Southern" sweet, get 50/50."

"We came at the end of the day and were welcomed like family. Slay was the pitmaster and did an amazing job. We had chicken, chopped pork and brisket. They were all very good. I was especially impressed with the brisket. It was moist and tender. Perfect. We'll be back."
