"*UPDATE* Corporate emailed me back saying the the Store Manager of the Cleveland Ave location would contact me in 3 days and I was never contacted. Today, I went to the Union City location and had a great experience. I was immediately greeted as soon as I entered the store and the staff was so friendly. They processed my exchange with no hesitation! Their staff is amazing!! 12/31/23 - Today, I went to the Cleveland Ave location to exchange 3 toys that my daughter received for Christmas (no receipt) and was very rudely denied an exchange from Queen and Maurice. I asked them about the return policy that was clearly posted that cited an exchange would be given if the item had been purchased within 90 days - to which they replied referencing that “exclusions apply”. After calling and speaking with Walmart’s customer service, they advised that they should have provided an exchange. Please retrain these associates !"
"Please read entire post before commenting . This is also a cautionary tale. Had a great shopping experience but very bad personal experience. As I was checking out an announcement came on describing a vehicle like my vehicle. " The person driving the make and model car .. please go to your car immediately. Your two dogs are in the car with the windows shut ". (they may have mentioned without water) (paraphrased) I begin to get nervous and finished checking out I was extremely upset. The announcement was made again maybe 5 to 7 minutes later but in a more menacing tone. "The person driving the .. . Plus "this is the last time I will be making this announcement" in a threatening manner that implied some harsh punishment awaited me if I did not get to the car by a certain time . I panicked and was close to tears. I get to the car my pets are fine (which I already knew). Why would I crack the windows? It is 56 degrees outside at 10am. My Chihuahua gets cold very quickly and refuses to keep her sweater on it's next to her on the seat and my poodle had just had his hair clipped very low . I put my groceries in the car and asked in a calm manner the gentleman parked next to me if he reported my car. He was surprised and said he did not nor was he aware that my dogs were "suffering". (paraphrased) He said he was watching as they barked at shoppers passing the car. All while he was sitting in his car with his Pit. I went back inside to talk to whomever was making the announcements and to my surprise no one knew who it was. I emphasized that my pets were not in any harm and how unprofessional and embarrassing the announcement was . As I was driving out I saw security and asked did he make the complaint? He said he did not and I went over the temperature for that day. He said he'd call if someone was in the store over 3 hours. I was not in the store 3 hours I told him I hope all factors are considered before making that type of announcement in the future. It would have been better if as a courtesy I was asked to come to customer service then explain the situation . For animal lovers like me...I get it. I don't like seeing any abuse of animals. or people. But PLEASE take in to consideration all factors when considering complaining about animal abuse. Now I wonder if I leave my pets in the car is someone gonna call or report me if they are left alone for what that person feels is to long or in unacceptable conditions. Will they complain because the windows are down and it is too cold in the car. Damned if you do damned if you don't."
"Only 1 register open. 15 pp in line. Had to use self check out. Bought $200.00 of food no problem. Then I had a separate order for wine which I paid for separately. At the end it said thank you but would not give me receipt. The lady working the self check out, could see it went thru. She asked her lead what to do again. The lead named Mia, said in a rude tone you have reboot the register and she will have to wait. I waited i think about 5 to 10 minutes but it never finished rebooting. The nice lady asked again for help. Again in a rude tone Mia said, have her ring it up again and if she finds out she was doubled charge bring it back for a refund. After ringing it up again got my receipt and has to walk by Mia. I asked if I could talk to her she looked dead at me and went into (I think the office). Waited a few minutes and when she came out I asked if there was a way to check out the last transaction. Again in a rude tone she said no. I asked her name and she said she didn’t have to give it to me. Her name tag was turned around so I could not see her name. Right about that time the lady working the self check out came running with the first receipt. I went to customer service with both receipts and got a credit for one transaction. Then Mia comes over and said she needed to see my receipt for the food I bought. Which I had. I only reason I got her name was I asked another cashier."
"Terrible experience inside and outside. The manager Luis is never there, or at least all the reps know to say he isn’t! The gas station outside has workers that slam your money down and curse. The young lady wouldn’t give me her name and told me she doesn’t have customer service experience!!! Please get this woman out !!"
