"How can you go wrong with a Crispy Waffle and crispy bacon! Absolutely cooked to perfection. It was a yummy quick dinner with my sissy! Who doesn't love a Waffle House! I would have given five stars except for the lady who came in while we were finishing up our supper and began coughing all over everything it's pretty gross."

"I went in for breakfast. I was the ONLY person waiting for a table. I waited a short time and was seated. It’s a Sunday morning so the restaurant was full but not overflowing. Once I was seated a family of three or four came in. The waitress who had just asked what I wanted to drink announced in her loudest and most condescending voice from across the room “EXCUSE ME BUT ARE YOU ALONE?” I was embarrassed and nodded yes. Again, in her loudest voice she asked me to move to the counter. I told her as quietly as possible I wanted to keep my seat. And then, as loudly as she could she said “I’m sorry but there’s a FAMILY that needs that table” as she pointed toward the people who came in after me. She was telling me to get up, leaving no choice. I have never been so humiliated and embarrassed. I got up and left. As I walked out the door she said “THATS FINE”. I’ve been a customer of that Waffle House so many years. What this person didn’t know is that I have just LOST my own family. I’m walking through this world alone now. It hurts. She stuck a knife in my heart today and twisted it. I’ll go back there later to speak with a manager. What is this world coming to???? The Waffle House ladies used to be so nice; their friendly greetings kept me coming back. NEVER AGAIN."

"Asked for a cup of hot water for my silverware, because I always do and it needed soaking waitress advised that the manger ( Marquez) told her she could not give me a cup of hot water, but I got a cup of hot coffee. My vist was on 10/23/23 @ 1: 18pm I am a frequent customer of this waffle house. If waffle house has changed their policy throughout, I will not return to any of their stores. I will however try another store and see what the response is to my request."
