"The house itself is very pretty and they have made it look nice. However, a few issues. The water was super hot and the shower upstairs would only go hot or super hot. The bottom oven in the kitchen never got hot to cook food. There wasn't enough bowls for everyone to have soup at the same time. The floor was never mopped. And the hot tub gazebo roof is torn so if you use the hot tub while raining you get wet. Otherwise it's a nice place."

"Everything about The Cardinal house was comfortable and relaxing. The house has a laidback and welcoming feel, but I think it’s the outside areas that really stand out. We brought young kids and old dogs, and felt completely safe that none of them would wander too far. The fenced in yard includes the porch stairs - so the kids and dogs had freedom to explore. A creek side fire pit is just outside the fence (so no worries about kids near the creek unsupervised) next to a perfect place to creek walk and rockhop. But I can’t forget to mention the game room downstairs with a Ms Pac-Man game! Just thinking about it makes me want to return soon."

"We took our kids and dog for spring break. This place blew away our already high expectations. So thoughtfully decorated and appointed, amazing amenities! It’s so hard to find welcoming places for both kids and dogs, and the Cardinal checked every box. Will definitely be coming back."

"I can’t rate our stay high enough. Nice quiet location surrounded by nature. The outdoor deck and hot tub space was incredible. The playroom downstairs was a game changer giving the kids plenty to do on a rainy day. Hosts were highly accommodating and responsive!"
