"Pricy parts but great for quick fixes. Professional employees."
"Ladies beware! Danny the store manager will NOT replace your window wipers although the company has signs all over the building sayings “free installation “. I went in a few days ago and purchased a pair window wipers and asked if someone could please install them for me seeing I did not know how to myself and went to a place that advertises such service! The store manager Danny initially told me no because it was raining, to which I did understand but also told him I was in desperate need of an replacement seeing that the ones I had on currently were so broken the metal was showing causing scratches on my windshield. I offered to wait until the rain had stopped and even had an umbrella for the person willing to help me. I waited, waited and waited until the rain completely stopped at this point. I walked back into the store to find Danny, the STORE MANAGER laughing and drinking his coffee with his employees. I politely return the wipers. He watched me return them. Nothing was said to me. He laughed and walked away when I asked for the cooperate number. A horrible representation of the company. I spent my money, I am an ELITE member. I guess that means nothing to this company. That was the store manager that treated me this way, in the rain I’ll add. He is setting an example to his team that this is how advance auto treats its guest."
"I called in to check the pricing on transmission fluid and gasket kit and the salesperson which was a lady was not helpful at all had a nasty attitude. I've also been in the store like a week ago to get oil change kit and she had a messed up attitude then I'll never go there poor customer service ."
"The lady there was really helpful!! But there was only 2 ppl so there was a long wait. The male there sold me the wrong part and didn’t know what he was doing for real"
"Unfortunately I have to give this location 1 out of 5 stars. I purchased a battery months ago and called today to check on the specs of the battery I purchased so I could buy the right sized trickle charger online without removing it from my bike. Unfortunately, not only was my order information lost, nobody seemed willing to search it in the system using the date and customer information (name, phone number, etc). They were more than happy to keep me on hold for 23 minutes while I waited for someone willing to help me. Eventually I was kicked out of the hold queue, still without having received any help. I then proceeded to remove the battery from my bike, a time consuming ordeal, and found the specs online. In order to verify the specs and obtain additional information so I could buy the right charger, I called the store again. Wildly, nobody could tell me the difference between the cold cranking amperage and the charging amperage. I waited on hold for an additional 21 minutes, and each time I got in touch with someone, they were unable to tell me the difference between the amperage values. Nobody seemed to know anything about batteries. I was genuinely shocked at how little the store representatives seemed to know about their own products. What really transformed this into a terrible experience, however, is the way the store representatives taking my call would tell me they needed to step away to "gather more information," and then leave me on hold until the system kicked me back to the start of the process. After waiting on hold for long enough, the system disconnects you. Each time I tried to call back, store representatives kicked me back into the hold queue so fast that I could not get a word in. Overall, what should have been a 5 minute call for a knowledgeable store representative to answer a simple question about one of their flagship products took nearly an hour of my time. I was finally transferred to a store manager after repeatedly calling back for another 20 minutes, who still did not really understand the question, nor the difference between ac and dc voltage, but who read the spec sheet out loud to me nonetheless. It is a wonder that an auto parts store could know so little about their own store battery brand, and be so unable and worse -- UNWILLING to answer any questions about their products. I would HIGHLY recommend one of the other auto part stores on Fairview road -- buyers please beware this location for the reasons given above. Autozone is only three blocks away and I have NEVER had issues like this with that location."
