"I wish I could give this business a -star. After keeping my truck for one month, I had to call the police on them, and I'm still hoping I can get my money back. This man's lack of honesty is astonishing, it was lie after lie for 31 days. I can go on and on, but it's not worth my time."

"This is NOT the shop it once was. And I found out the hard way. I have lived in Brookhaven/Chamblee for thirty years and throughout that time I always had my vehicles serviced by Shad and Melissa at J&L. Never a complaint, never questioned the pricing and the work was always done in a timely, professional manner. In December of 2022 I returned for a front end alignment and when dropping off the vehicle I asked where Shad was and was told he was out. Well he was indeed out. He had sold the business to a new crew and I should have figured that out when it took three weeks to get my car back. When I did get my car back, the leather wrapped steering wheel was filthy with grease as was the drivers seat and armrest. And they had managed to burn up three quarters of a tank of fuel leaving my fuel light on when I drove away. Insult to injury they had not even done the alignment. They also managed to not do several hundred more dollars of work that I was charged for. Forget all the positive reviews which are regarding the work done by the wonderful previous owners. This robbing crew needs to be avoided. I can't fathom how some people can be so dishonest."

"I highly recommend J&L to anyone who is looking for friendly customer service and honest communication. I was absolutely convinced there was something wrong with my vehicle because I’m paranoid ever since it had issues last year, and given my paranoia they had ample opportunity to take advantage of me... but they had it for 3 days and test drove it multiple times, ran several tests and only ended up charging me for an oil change. Greg and Kelly were both super nice and patient and helpful!"

"I have had all of my automotive repairs and preventive maintenance performed by J&L for over 35 years. I have dealt with Randy, Gabe and Shad during all those years. I have found them to be expert mechanics, fair priced and provide excellent Service. One time while performing some preventive maintenance on one of my cars their mechanic found a $20 dollar bill in the back of the car. They put it on the front seat so I would see it when I picked the car up. Quality people and very honest!"
