"Our family has used Joy Exterminating several times over the years, at different homes. We usually have a good experience from their technicians. Our last visit was a bit more expensive (like most things are these days) and we simply paid the bill. Later, we realized that the tech had promised ant bait prior to issuing the bill, but neglected to leave it when he departed. When we realized it, I called the business. The staff was friendly when I explained what happened and what we needed. Someone dropped of the baits within a day or two, along with an additional bill that we had not counted on and didn't agree to. We thought the bait was already figured into the original bill and paid for. Well, we have since paid the bill, but still do not think we were treated fairly. We are not a family that takes advantage, or tries to beat anyone out of a nickel. We have always received decent service from this company, so I do not want to speak too poorly of them. I just want to leave what I consider to be an honest assessment of our experience(s) and mention to those who might use Joy Exterminators to pay attention and make sure you go over the bill with them before they leave. -This was just not one of our better experiences."

"I really wonder if the above reviews are friends of this business's owner or are compensated in some way because there is no way in hell I would ever give this place 5 stars!! They LIED and didn't even do an inspection on my mothers home and cleared it as having no wood eating insects/subterranean termites and then when they eventually swarmed they denied any responsibility for the issue that they were supposedly paid to detect. So when they were asked about the reason why they weren't able to find an insect that had to have already been insanely polluted with because they only swarm every 5 years(this can easily be looked up on Google or any search engine and multiple other extermination companies)they stumble over their words and blame shift to other employees until their only option left was belligerent intimidation. So please people if there is anyone looking for an extermination company or have the misfortune of buying a house through St. Mary's Realty please please look for someone else!!! Or definitely get a second opinion!!!"
