"Horrible experience. Ordered furniture on August 26, 2023. Was told it would take about 2 months to receive furniture. Was told end of October the desk and file cabinets were ready but bookcases were on back order. Beth said she would split the order so I could get the furniture that was ready to ship and I would have it soon. That never happened. I have lived in chaos for almost 6 months. Beth rarely returned my calls and was horrible at follow-up. On January 31, 2024, I called her and told her if I didn’t have the furniture in my home on February 15, 2024, I was canceling the order and wanted a refund. On February 10, 2024, Beth called and said she had received the bill of lading and she was receiving my furniture early in the week and made arrangements to deliver it on the 15th (deadline day). After carrying in the file cabinets and desk, I’m informed the bookcases hadn’t arrived yet. She had to know when she set up the delivery date that the bookcases were not going to come, yet she failed to mention that as she knew I would cancel the order. She said she would go back to the office and call me with the delivery date as she couldn’t remember it, but had it written down on the paperwork in her office. Didn’t happen, as usual. I called the following day and am told she has to call the company to see what happened to the bookcases. Beth is worse than a used car salesman. I don’t know how this company is still in business. (She drove the pickup truck to my house with the furniture on it, yet she’s way to busy serving customers to return calls. Hahaha.)"

"Purchased a recliner wanting to support a local small business although the price was high. Less than a year later, the chair developed an issue-called up the store-let's get it fixed. Repair man came to the house, took the information, will order the part. Weeks, months go by....Called them to ask when the chair will be repaired. Ridiculous run around-repair man is out to lunch, company sent the part but 3 weeks later it had not yet arrived...all sort of 'dog ate my homework' nonsense. 2 1/2 months later......We flipped the chair over, got the name of the company, called them asking if they had had contact with PUGH'S concerning this chair. They had but the check from the furniture store bounced and they never sent the part. We ordered the part from them, it arrived 2 days later, my husband put it on and the chair was repaired. I stopped in the shop to discuss the issue with them and no one would talk to me. Long story short- I will NEVER EVER purchase anything from this store. The merchandise is extremely over priced, selection is poor and the quality is mediocre. The people that work there are rude and untrustworthy. Customer service is non-existent if you have an issue."

"The associate went out of her way to come in on a Saturday and assist me. However, the prices were astronomically high, and the selection just was not there. I didn't make a purchase as i just could not justify the price they were asking for a single dresser."
