Family Dollar

"The store itself appears to be okay. The staff was courteous and professional. However, outside the store seems to be the local "handout" spot. I say that because everytime I come to this store, there are numerous people standing in front of the store. Some of those people appear shady. Also, just recently , there was a shooting that occurred just across the street. Sometimes I think I'm back in the city (New York City) where I'm originally from. Overall, I like the variety that this store offers. Because of this community being food deficient, a lot of people depend on these smaller stores for their groceries. This causes the inventory to often be low. Since I live in this community and even though I have the means to shop elsewhere, I try to support small business as much as I can."

"I had just stopped at the Family Dollar to grab a couple things and what a great experience. I wasn't sure where things were in the store so I had asked a girl named Lynn and she was so helpful. She was a very nice person. So when I went to check out I wasn't sure if they were taking checks and she wasn't sure so she called the manager Tammy and Tammy came up and helped her and everything went so smooth. It's nice to know that they're still good retail people out there. Tammy and Lynn are a great team"

"Employees were friendly and helpful, but I didn't like the way the store was setup. It was hard to find what I needed and there were several things that were put next to stuff that didn't make sense. The store could be setup better; however, it was a clean store and wasn't messy."

"I love this place but the aisles are always blocked with merch that the employees are slowly putting away from their truck. Hard to see all of selection, kind of hard to get around inside, even."
