"My second time here and I'll keep coming back that's for sure. Excellent menu with selections for everybody and more. The food, staff and prices are all equally great. If you've never been you are missing out. Easy access from Rt. 64, Rt. 60 and more."

"Sadly keeps going downhill. Longtime family gold mine left to one who does not care. All the veteran waitresses have left. Wonder why? They were excellent. Often current staff do not acknowledge incoming customers let as lone seat or wait on them. Asked why after 50 plus years fresh lemon slices were no longer available for iced tea. New owner replied, “do you know how hard it is to get lemons in here?” Items continue to be removed from menu or unavailable. But cheap truck stop trinkets/junk for sale has replaced the once customer friendly counter seating. Sad to see Diehl’s continue downhill. Will likely go the way of the sandwich shop."

"Our experience on Wed Nov 15 was very disappointing. The owner was present, so it is surprising that the food was so poorly prepared. The peas were hard and inedible. The beer battered fish had very little white fish and was mostly dark. It did not taste or look appealing. The mashed potatoes, green beans and pie slices were enjoyable. The quality did not match the price of $45-50, for two. It seems there was better consistency many years ago."

"Roast beef is wonderful! Absolutely impossible to be from a can like mentioned by another. Yes rolls are not warm, but oh so fluffy and good. Best green beans in a long time. Mashed potatoes needed a little butter but also good. Coconut creme pie is best in the valley! No pic, took it home for later!"

"What a great place. Food is amazing! Everyone at our table ordered something different and everyone enjoyed their food and samples from others. Not a bad item in the bunch. It was really impossible to say what item was a favorite as they all were so good. Service was just as amazing as the food. All the staff seem to enjoy working there and cared for their customers like family. The only negative is that we were only one town as a stop and will be moving on in the morning. Despite being several hundreds of miles from home we will make the trip back!"
