"Husband absolutely loves the fried fish and pot roast. Food is usually very good. Nice selection. Word of caution though we have found hair in our food twice and the dishes numerous times have had specks of dried food so inspect them well. Ice cream machine has been out of commission 5 out of 6 times that we've been. There is room for improvement."

"I only come here once a year for the free Veterans Appreciation dinner as I live near Barboursville, and there is no longer a Golden Corral down here. I am not a fan of buffets in general, but once a year isn't going to kill me (hopefully). The food is mediocre and exactly what you would envision on a general buffet. All the food tends to taste the same, and nothing really pops out at your taste buds. The bars were clean and maintained, and the food was restocked in a timely manner. The server we had was very courteous and prompt in getting our refills. She definitely seemed overworked and tired. We did leave her a good tip since the table behind us left her nothing. If you're looking for a decent variety buffet that runs about $15/person, then by all means, check this place out. Like I previously stated, I only come here once a year, so it's not too bad for me."

"This one is not as good as others that I have been in I don't know what's happened to Golden corral... The food is still good but some of the other food is questionable... But some of the food is still rather delicious depending on what you choose... You definitely can fill your belly up however at a place like this."

"Not the place it once was. Took too long to get a seat. Was seated at a dirty table, cashier got my drink wrong, too many product outages on the buffet, very slow service, waited 30 minutes on shrimp, no telling how long it was out before we got there. Most of the employees looked very unhappy. You've got some serious work to do if you want to stay in business long term. My wife said she doesn't want to ever go back."
