"It was okay. I had the spicy chicken sandwich, and it was definitely not spicy. I also had onions rings and cheese bites. I would go back but only to fill up my stomach. I have eaten at other locations , same impression."

"I finally decided to stop and try a Cook Out on the way to Charleston. I got the Big Double Burger tray with onion rings and hush puppies. It was a good amount of food for the price ($11). The onion rings and hush puppies were well cooked and hot. The burger was good too. There wasn't anything special about the patties themselves but it is definitely one of the better quality burgers you could grab while you're on the road. While it wouldn't replace the familiarity of a Burger King or Wendy's burger, it's still very good in its own right."

"I'm always a fan of cookout, however, Cross Lanes ALWAYS seems to impress. The other 2 surrounding are "hit and miss". Crosslanes has ALWAYS had great sweet tea (which is generally my reason for frequenting) But when I do order a tray... its never tossed in there, always appealing and more important, correct as ordered. Most typical "fast food" chains dpnt seem to put as much effort in their establishment, staff or presentation. I felt after today's order... credit was most definitely deserved!"

"The worst one I've ever been to. Service was slow and had to remind them to give us napkins, strolls, our drinks and the recipes. Not to mention proportions huh. Spose to have a db tray on both of mine and my husband's order. Don't get me wrong I love cook out but jest not to happy with this one."
