"I love this office! Staff is amazing and the doctor is great."
"Great place to work! It's evident how the staff have worked together for many years and are like family."
"I miss Dr Goddard, not gonna lie, but I had to come and post that Dr Munck was just there for me when I could literally not find anyone else to help, after meeting me only once, and that's really awesome. Thanks"
"I recently started seeing Dr Munck and she has been so helpful and informative. I really appreciate her and I’m glad I have found a place where I feel comfortable. The staff are very nice and welcoming as well."
"I have been a patient of Dr. Joann Hiott for many many years. Upon hearing of her retirement, I was very sad but understood. She was a very caring physician. After meeting with Mrs. Wallace , the nurse practitioner. I was very impressed with her personality and the service that she provided. I made the decision that I would like for her to be the clinician I would select as my replacement for Dr.Hiott. I have seen Mrs. Wallace previously and enjoyed her bedside service in the past. I had been having severe back spasms and went to Roper hospital a few months ago. I started experiencing the pains again and after a week of trying home remedies, I decided to go to Roper St. Francis Physician Partners and saw Mrs. Heather Wallace, NP on February 10, 2021. She asked me about my visit to Roper hospital a few months ago and asked me if I had X-rays. I was given a Toradol injection for the back pain and prescribed a refill of the muscle relaxant previously given to me by Roper Emergency. We talked and it was decided by the both of us that we would hold off on having a x-ray done unless things got worse. On Monday, February 15, 2021 I woke up in excruciating pain. I called Mrs. Wallace’s office and spoke to the receptionist and told her my issue. I was transferred to Mrs. Wallace’s nurse. I left a detailed message about my issue. I waited 2 hrs., I did not hear from her nurse after two hours and the pain was almost paralyzing. At that point I started calling every 30 minutes. I finally spoke to her nurse. I believe her name is Tameka. I told her that I was in a lot of pain and wanted to know what I should do. She suggested to I go to Roper Express James Island or Northwoods because their office does not have an X-ray machine; and they would be able to look at my records because both systems interacted. I told her that was not possible because I was in too much pain to drive that far. I live West Ashley. She told me to go to Roper Emergency where they too would have access to my records. I drove to Roper Emergency. I told them that I was sent by my primary physician to have an x-ray done on my back. The receptionist asked if I had an order from my physician that way I would only be charged for the x-ray and not for an emergency room visit. I called Mrs. Wallace’s office and was told by her nurse that Mrs. Wallace would not write me an order that I would need to be seen in the emergency room. I told the nurse that I came to the emergency room because Mrs. Wallace said I needed to come their because they did not have a x-ray machine. I waited in pain for over four hours before I was finally put into a room for about 30 minutes and then seen by a physician’s assistant, two nurses and finally two x-ray technicians who did my x-rays and I was prescribed more medication. I feel that Mrs. Wallace and her nurse could have written an order for me to be seen in the emergency room which would have decreased the unnecessary charges I will be receiving. I was just seen by Mrs.Wallace on February 10 and received a thorough diagnosis of my back with the exception of an x-ray My insurance will be billed and I will be left with a huge balance that was not even necessary. Also, Tameka, Mrs. Wallace’s nurse showed no compassion when I expressed to her the amount of pain I was in. I asked her why she didn’t call me and she told me that “she would call me after her rounds, but they caught me now so I’ll talk to you”Very unprofessional. As a result, I will find a new doctor and move on. I will not give my hard earned money to an organization that lacks customer service and empathy for their patients."
