"On 4/29, I had multiple tissue grafts performed by Dr. Voelkert and his team. There were so many little things that made a HUGE difference. Having antibiotics start the day before, making prescriptions (for pain and nausea) available prior to surgery day, having blankets to keep me warm during the procedure, comforting small talk as everyone prepped for the procedure, genuine compassion as well as high levels of professionalism from every staff member, having a post-op talk with my husband about details for care, and the recommendation for a smoothie on the way home!
