Reviews
"WHY ONE STAR? Read the review. The Tabby Villas Apartments is not a bad location or place to live. The reason I give them a star because of poor management and they way they treat people. I rent it an apartment for more than three years. I want to say this that, at the time when I vacate the apartment you should see it. The carpet, paint and bathrooms were sparkling ✨. I clean each toilet with high quality cleaning products. The carpet looked like it just was installed. Paint was absolutely clean. The manager was shocked and assured me that I will receive my deposit. It’s been over two months and they didn’t send me my deposit. Their HQ probably is not aware of the management. Sometimes when I ask for something they would never listen. The previous manager was very good but this new manager looks like she doesn’t care. Hope the Tabby Villas HQ read my review. THIS IS HOW I CLEAN THE APARTMENT BUT THEY NEVER REFUND ME MY DEPOSIT."
"Why I am disappointed in Tabby Villas Apartments. Moved in at the beginning of May with no issues. The staff are very nice and the place is clean. After living there for 2 months, I received a relocation request from my company. Therefore, to be proactive I went to the office to give them a 30-day notice per the contract. That is when things started getting ugly. The manager gave me a form and told me to put the exact date I was moving. As I did not know the exact date yet, I could not put it in writing but wanted to let her know what was coming in 30 days or more and that the contract does not specify it be in writing. I then mentioned some holes I made in the walls for hanging art and asked if I needs to patch and painted? The manager told me they do not supply the paint and there would be a fee to fix and paint the walls, and it would cost me $300. I left and started panicking and went to buy putty, paint and all the necessary tools to do it myself. After spending part of the next day patching and painting, it looked worse. The paint was a slightly darker. I went outside, found a maintenance person, and told him I needed the correct color they use. He then told me they would take care of painting. Puzzled, I went back to the office, talk to the assistant, as the manager was not there and explained what happened. She replied, “I’m not sure why she (the manager) is telling you that, our policy is we do all the patching and painting”. She then called the manager to find out but got no answer. I left relieved and about 30 minutes later, the manager called and said there was a misunderstanding and I did not need to paint. I am 100%, sure, this was not a misunderstanding as she gave a hand written note with all the charges and painting was one of items on it. The day I turned the keys over, the manager showed up to do the walk through and she was clearly angry. She walked through the place and ran her finger over everything, checked the ceiling fans for dust, and then made us clean the windows behind the blinds from a previous tenant. She spoke with an angry tone, at one point told a friend to step outside, as he was not on the lease, and had no input in the matter. The manager is very unprofessional and tried her best to find anything she could charge extra. Lied about painting and blamed it on the maintenance person. Be very careful staying here, as the manager does not care about your situation. Here is the total breakdown of changes. Cancellation Fee: 1 month rent No written 30-day notice: 1 month rent Lose of security deposit: $200 Attached are pictures of the lease (early termination) and hand written note she gave us."
"I called and the receptionist was very rude and short with me. I'm new to the area and was apartment hunting, I saw these and thought they were perfect. After how I was spoken to, I'll pass on this property. If you treat me this way for an inquiry, how will I be treated as a resident? I'm making sure I tell everyone I know to skip this location."
"I moved out in this summer. I stayed there for 2 & 1/2 years. The apartments are clean, maintenance do answer request in timely manner. The prices are very reasonable. It's a safe place to stay. The best this about staying in this apartment was Ms. April! She is always helpful and courteous! Ms. Knight is sweet as she can be as well. Definitely would recommend staying here. I miss it!"
"Great Staff, April is incredibly nice and helpful. Rent is reasonable and rarely increases. Apartments are clean, and neighbors as respectful. The maintenance staff fixes the few issues that pop up timely and correctly."
