Lennar at Azalea Ridge at Summers Corner

"Used to live in a Lennar. The home is fine...but the sales experience was hell. They didn't know how to build the loft as no one ever got one before. They put too small of an AC to handle two floors so it always busted. Never replaced it, was just a constant “send someone out to fix it”. In one year had the AC people there more than 10 times. Stayed an additional year renting another Lennar Home and it was truly shoddy work and cheap materials. Vinyl on garage warping, baseboards coming off, stair rails lose and wobbly"

"TLDR: buy from the sales people at the village instead of azalea. Went in to the sales office to get pricing and availability in a lot for a model we liked. Was looking at the map of the lots and someone ran out and said “I’m going to get my partner”. A few minutes later someone came back in and my husband said, okay we are going to make this quick (because we knew what we wanted) - she interrupted and said okay well please be respectful - we were both confused. She asked if I was talking to her in the other house… I had no idea what she was talking about. Her rude comment annoyed my husband so instead of purchasing we walked out. Very confusing and very poor treatment. Edit: the sales team at the village is very nice. They turned it around."

"The ladies working were super overwhelmed and not helpful answering questions. The homes are built on top of each other. No yards. Your windows would either peer into another person's house or their siding. The HOA fees are $825 not, not bad for all the ammenties, but once the new pool/gym is built will go up $720 per year. Then HOA fees will be 1500 per year. Definitely ask questions if you want to consider here. The sales pitch is that it will go up $50-60 per month... The place is for people who don't care about privacy or yards. Also, they do not allow any customization. No fireplaces, no soaker tubes... Nothing... unlike most other builders in the area."

"They have built wonderful houses over there..My only concern was the small backyards. Otherwise, there are a lot of great homes for great price. Please make sure you meet Ashley as she tells you all the details and answers your questions with a lot of patience like a friend, not a realtor. Also, there are tons of ponds out there. They are also building the community park. An ideal place for any family moving into Charleston Area."
