"Don’t buy from Kolter. I have multiple complaints filed against them and their lies about Community amenities. They are all show up front and everything goes down hill after close. Make sure you get a copy of all bylaws upfront. Do not sign one paper until you read the entire bylaw document. Make sure if you think you are receiving any amenities that they are actually specified in the bylaws and/or already built as they claimed in my subdivision they were building walking trails, a beach and that we had a community boat ramp and that wasn’t true at all. They own the boat ramp and gave our second marina to only one section of the Community which we are not entitled to access or use. One of my neighbors actually broke down and cried when she found out Kolter was going to be a builder in our neighborhood because they were so awful in her last subdivision. If this post gives you pause, please pause and make sure you don’t make any assumptions about maintenance or expected landscaping or amenities. Don’t accept anything verbally from them. Get all in writing or you too will be their next victory."
