"As many rentals the advertised does not match what you pay for. "Luxury Living" as stated at Bridgepointe, is experienced only through what they charge for rent. The pictures above are of the HVAC system and pictures of the upstairs bathrooms of which had no ventilation due to the exhaust fans being so clogged and in need of much needed replacement. But when I inquired about having them cleaned or if I could clean them myself, it was the usual response "No we don't do that..." Same situation with the dryer vent. The main concern there is to keep the outside front presentable to attract people to fall for them. The worst part was Beverly in the office. She was very rude, always trying to overtalk you, not very well mannered for being a manager, in my opinion, because she lacks the ability to listen and assist the tenants. Kenny was the more professional manager there, and he took the time to listen to the tenants. It was sad to lose him. Maintenence is Google certified, and the pool is not professionally cleaned ever. In four years, I believe we used it maybe 4-5 times before I realized it wasn't properly maintained. The yard crew will destroy your personal belongings, and no one does anything about it. The walls are paper thin, you will hear your neighbors in situations that they and you really wished you hadn't."
"Moved from New England to South Carolina without seeing the actual townhome. Once we arrived, we received a warm welcome, shown our townhome. All staff has been friendly and accommodating. Any work orders or questions have been taken care of very quickly and efficiently. Would recommend."
"Beverly is literally the worst property manager I have ever come across, they used to have a really sweet lady Shannon at the front desk which is part of the reason I wanted to move here thinking everyone was like her. I moved in 4 months ago into a “renovated” townhome, paying $1650 a month & it only has upgraded cabinets, they even left the old railing that looks as if it had been chewed on by a dog. I have no type of view at all and they placed me next to some racist white lady who would constantly call the police if my TV was on making false reports. I reported this to the office my first couple weeks here and even asked could I be relocated to a different townhome. Beverly told me no but let that lady move into a better townhome once available, even though I been asking! I have called the office and left her notes to get a call back and she never returned any of my calls or inquiries. Would be cautious when moving here everything isn't what it appears after you sign that lease agreement."
"Would not recommend , was tricked at first everything seems very nice at first but.. ,prices sky rocket after lease is up and keep going up and up, moved in carpet was not new and new paint was not applied to any of the walls , maintenance inspections and random things they can make up frequently to come inside your home , nothing ever gets fixed or improved ,imposter Kenny is the most phony, fake nice person you will ever meet in your life, parking is rare to nonexistent literally zero parking lots of the time at your overpriced home , security is nonexistent dangerous seeming people come and go 24/7 . Never got security deposit back that was stolen, also made false reports on my credit due to ‘the seal between the tub and tile was worn off ‘.and yes was worn down because I keep my house over the top clean so the bleach and cleaners do wear waterproof, caulking Down over time , So living in a apartment for years with constant maintenance checks that being such an issue, was never brought to my attention and when they did the move out inspection was never noted or said anything about this . One more way they could get over on me one last time because they knew they couldn’t embezzle from me anymore , I hope the scam has been noticed and take. Care of but I’m guessing it hasn’t if Kenny is still the ring leader . Unfortunately I could go on and on and on about the negatives and only positive was the location besides that these thieves owe me at this point for all I’m concerned ."
"Please don't be fooled! Idk how this place gets any good reviews at all, they must be using bots or something. The people who live here are great (many of them had to leave so now I'm not sure) but the maintenance is horrible, and they take damages they cause from negligence out of your deposit. We tried to get things fixed as soon as we saw a problem and they at most would take a week to get to it, whether it was malfunctioning dishwashers or SERIOUS FLOODING ISSUES THAT ROT THE WOOD UNDER THE CARPET, and sometimes even just straight up ignored it. The screen on the top floor windows was being ripped apart by branches and after several attempts at getting maintenance to take care of it (it sounded from the bedroom like nails on a chalkboard btw because it was basically raw branches against glass at that point) we finally just cut the branches down ourselves even though we didn't have the right equipment and luckily had a ladder. Day one we moved in there was melted plastic on the stove that caught fire, but luckily we saw it ahead of time and let it burn off under a pot lid. Could have been way worse. The place was not really cleaned to say the least. Like surface level at best. There are many stories including getting woken up to a banging at the door from an unstable maintenance guy screaming at my husband about leaving a few empty boxes by the trash compactor when it was full. First time it had ever happened, and that was the reaction. The red head maintenance guy is a creep to say the least. Microwave had to be replaced, dishwasher had to be replaced...I could go on it was problem after problem with sometimes weeks in between action. When we moved out we tried to tell them that because they said they were all out of filters and didn't see it as a priority to get a filter when we asked, (keep in mind we're in the middle of moving) that there was a major leak in the kitchen area and even the wall behind the AC unit that was flooding the carpet. This is ON MOVE OUT DAY but we still had a month on the lease, so we told them we were moving out of state but that there's serious flooding. We told them on SAT and they said they would get to it on MONDAY. which blows my mind when we're talking about water damage. They did something similar to our friends in the unit across the street but I'll let them tell their story. TLDR: if you're desperate I get it but at least know what you're in for."
