"The rent is pretty high and they don't fix things it takes them a long time to get to big projects out here. A neighbor was killed out here on the property and there's been lots of vehicle theft and damage of personal property they still will not put up security cameras even though many residents have asked them"
"My advice like MANY of the true 1 star reviews on here - STAY AWAY! Not only do they continue to raise the rent yearly and include no extra services, but the complex itself is is very poorly managed or maintained. They have no appreciation for long term tenants. Also, like others here - I attempted to get a corporate number that just doesn't exist. They claim they don’t know the number to corporate --- "person" responding to these reviews wants to give the appearance that they are addressing the issues when they really just arn't. Rent elsewhere!"
"My ex husband rented his apartment here in 2019. His rent at that time was $1050 a month for the “Surf” layout. Since then, his rent has gone up to 1600 a month with no additional amenities or benefit to him at all. The halls are rarely cleaned, it seems by the amount of spiders and other creatures around the establishment that there’s no regular pest control, and I’m not sure that anyone ever changes the filters in his hvac unit. Despite this, he has been a loyal renter for these past years, always paying his rent. He keeps to himself and causes no issues. Unfortunately, he was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and has now had to file for FMLA leave while he undergoes treatment. Due to this being a huge financial burden, he is planning to move out in February to live with his sister. I understand that “no one is special,” however, the management in the office told him that they could not help him with any kind of exception to let him out of his lease without paying ahead two months rent from the time of his departure. I would understand if his rent was behind, or if he was a bad tenant with a damaged apartment. However, he is not. I understand that everyone falls on hard times, but pancreatic cancer is a devastating diagnosis. He is not asking for them to forgive past rent. He is simply asking for them to let him out of his lease in February without having to pay through May. He was told “they can’t help him.” I find this to be callous and overly punishing to a person who is already undergoing a devastating life event."
"I have lived here since Feb 2020. There have been at least five managers. Every one and the new staff changed things. I was severely injured in a fall tripping over a scooter left out in the hall. I required surgery. I tried to get help. No one even filed an incident report. The manager agreed to help w medical bills. New manager comes along-no help- next manager offers help w rent-new manager says no, you owe us 2 months back rent. They give me very little time to come up with the money or they will file eviction. I found the money through a non profit. No one cared. I was unable to do my PT job. My apartment flooded because the hot water heater broke at the turn off. There was no water turn off for the apartment. The 24/7 maintenance person lived 90 minutes away. There was no security on site. From 3 am- 6:30am I stood in water trying to shove water out of the doors. Renters insurance deductible wasn’t met. They sent a maintenance person who said they should gut the apartment up 3 feet and move me. They fired him. Because of health and family situation I could not move to another complex. There is just too much to tell. Filthy breezeways, no rule enforcement, and finally an extravagant rent increase. All of this and more was under VTT management. The one bright spot is that December 13, 2023 , a new management company took over. They have an excellent reputation. I have my fingers crossed for the rest of the residents. Why didn’t I move? Injuries from my fall made it impossible. I’ve spent so much money on medical, surgery, etc. and thanks to VTT management, I can’t afford them. Everyone told me to get a lawyer. I should have listened. The place always smells like weed. One resident killed another one. I hear people screaming and fighting at all hours. Again, the new management company will hopefully clean it up."
"Very professional. We opened up a corporate lease for our company and was easy to work with and was able to establish housing for our employees very quickly. Highly recommend them and the property is kept up and cleaned. The girls in the office were very friendly and the clubhouse it clean and amenities were very nice. Great place to be!!!"
