I timely received my knife (ordered as a gift for an upcoming event) and called Bufs merely to question whether a bit of the engraving might be improved and told them I could live with it if not or if doing so was too much trouble. They insisted that I return it and same day sent me a prepaid, return shipping label. I sent it back without a hitch. Even though the website says a replacement could take up to 60 days, I had a new knife within 7 days (in plenty of time for my event) and the engraving was perfect! I couldn't be happier with the knife or Bufs, and highly recommend each of them. In today's world where it is not always the case, a business eager to deliver on its promises deserves a hearty shout out!"

"I'm not a big reviewer, but I had a recent experience with their customer service and had to share. After my last PCS move, 14 years after my parents gifted me a plaque and knife from Bufs, I noticed that the little plastic knife holding piece had broke. I emailed them (since they put their company sticker on the back of the plaques) expecting to pay a few bucks or get a item number to go and buy a replacement ... BUT they offered and then sent me the new piece free of charge. It came within a week and as you can see from the picture, the knife is back on the wall. IF that isn't great customer service, then I'd like to know what is."
