"My merchandise was supposed to be delivered on Friday and then on Monday and then it got pushed back to Tuesday. They were supposed to call me 30 minutes before the delivery but the call never came, so when we called back they had the nerves to say they didn’t have space in their truck!!! To be fair it was their sub-contractor FASTMILE out of Columbia that was suppose to deliver pallet, but my check was written to Averitt and they should take the responsibility to see who they partner with. I finally drove down to their warehouse and picked up a 480 lb pallet myself! Horrible experience! Will never use Averitt again"

"this should tell you all you need to know about their customer service: If you want them to call you in advance to schedule their deliveries, there is a fee. If they show up unannounced for free and you are not ready immediately to receive the merchandise, they leave and make you reschedule with them and get in the back of the line. I only asked them to wait 10 minutes while I unloaded the truck I was almost done with."
