Erin Kristen Balog, MD

Erin Kristen Balog, MD is a general pediatrician located at 135 Rutledge Avenue in Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Balog grew up on the coast of Massachusetts and attended Bowdoin College before pursuing a career in medicine. After completing medical school at the University of Vermont, she completed her training in Pediatrics at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland. Dr. Balog has experience caring for service member dependents, active duty, and retired individuals during her time in the Navy. She also has a passion for medical education and has taught at the military medical school in Bethesda. Dr. Balog's professional interests include pediatric mental health, newborn medicine, breastfeeding, and medical education. She is now a part of the General Pediatrics team at MUSC, providing high-quality care to children in the Charleston area.
