Dr. Adrian Strand

Dr. Adrian Strand is a board-certified family medicine physician located at 490 Martello Drive in Charleston, South Carolina. At the Medical University of South Carolina, Dr. Strand provides comprehensive primary care services for individuals and families of all ages. Her areas of expertise include adolescent medicine, migrant and global health, care for underserved populations, and geriatrics. Dr. Strand is experienced in treating patients with diverse cultural backgrounds and multiple chronic medical conditions, and she is fluent in both English and Spanish. She is dedicated to providing primary care services to the LGBT community.

Originally from North Carolina, Dr. Strand completed her undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she majored in biology and anthropology. She then earned her Master's of Public Health in International Health and Development from Tulane University before serving as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer. Dr. Strand received her medical degree from UNC and completed her family medicine residency training at New York Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. With her extensive education and experience, Dr. Strand is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to her patients.
