"I called this and other companies to get a quote on a water heater flush and anode rod change. Other companies offered lower pricing to drain water heater, inspect inside, flush with chemicals, and change the anode rod. I chose Canady’s because of their reviews and guarantee work in the future with their club program. Unlike other companies, Canady’s offered to inspect all plumbing in the house too. I was ok with paying a little higher for those services for a little peace of mind. One month later, I called to make my appointment and request a flush and anode rod change for two water heaters. They quoted me a different price from the first. I reminded them the price they quoted me a month earlier, and that they offered to discount the second water heater. Side note: I’ve used them for my A/C and Heating units before as well. They acknowledged and scheduled the appointment. The day of my appointment, my technician and I discuss the service: water heater flush, the anode rods being changed, and the inspection of all plumbing. While refilling the water heater, I ask the technician if he is supposed to changed the anode rods with a full tank? He says no and says he doesn’t have the anode rods. He was not told to change them by the office so he doesn’t have them. I reminded him of the conversation we just had before he started, wondering why he didn’t say anything then. I specifically asked about the anode rods. He calls the office and they say that the price they quoted does not cover anode rods. They wanted to charge an additional $500+ to replace anode rods when that’s not original price agreement. Be cautious on pricing and the services selected."
"After only a 15 minute diagnostic on my AC unit the technician said he could not locate the problem other than my refrigerant was low. Said he thinks there is a small leak but unable to locate it due to it being wet outside. Put $125 worth of refrigerant in, charges the $89 service fee, has me sign receipt, and left. 12 hours later his “fix” failed and I had to call him back out. Found the leak within 15 minutes on second visit. Leak was inside my house the entire time. Could have been found on first visit if he was more thorough. Technician says a new part needs to be ordered in order to fix. Shows me an estimate and I reluctantly agree on the repairs. Loads 1/2 lbs of refrigerant into my system and has me sign receipt after putting a 15% deposit for part($715). That day and the following 5 days (a weekend and holiday in there) I never receive a copy of this receipt, I call and ask for one and also an estimate on part arrival. I’m emailed receipt for $65, I paid $715. Talk to a manager to find where my money is or receipt for down payment, he tells me no part is ordered, will call back same day to confirm ordered and send receipt. Also expressed my concerns over his technician forging my signatures. New receipt I received has only one signature belonging to me, the rest are forged. This seems to not bother him as he tells me “I’m trying to get them to stop that”. Never calls me back. I call back 3 days later to find out my part has never been ordered. Going on two weeks with no AC due to a lazy technician and a manager who doesn’t hold his team accountable and fails to do his job. This business allows their employees to forge customer’s signatures, can’t order parts, can’t conduct follow ups, and can’t provide receipts for what they charge customers. I would love for management to reach out to me so I can explain in further detail."
"Five stars really just aren’t enough.. these guys are great from the office to the tech!! All around great experience.. Aaron was my technician he is a Genius Angel.. Man walked right up looked at it pin pointed the problem and boom fixed it!! In and out in like 15 minutes.. I couldn’t be more impressed!! He has a great personality and I highly recommend this company and hopefully you get to meet Aaron!! Thanks man I appreciate you!!"
"The last/current PM and repair on our unit unfortunately has been really stressful for lack of a better word. I scheduled a PM on our unit (as with the heat it was running sluggish) in the beginning of July for the end of that month with the anticipation if we book far in advance our appointment wouldn't get pushed put. On the day of the appointment we received a call that Canady's would have to reschedule from 7/24 to 8/10. I was able to negotiate 7/28 but on that day again we received a call they would have to reschedule. So now our 3rd attempt on 7/31 the technician came to the house. Andrew has been very professional through the whole experience, preformed the PM and suggested a replacement part, we agreed to the work and hoped our unit would be back to normal. Unfortunately a few days later we noticed the house was not cooling and unit was constantly running. The house wont get below 80. Called Canady's back on 8/7 it was scheduled for Andrew to come back the next day. The 2nd visit it's was discovered a valve will need to be replaced and it will be 7-10 days before the part arrives. So with the reschedules and 2nd visit, it will be 2+ weeks before our house is cool. The staff has been professional but the planning/operation has left us frustrated and stressed out."
