"I’ve been coming to this place every year around the holidays because my brother and I like to try out different craft beers while he is in town. I usually experience friendly service and a helpful staff while I’m there. This time it was a bit different. The gentleman that owns the place is nice, but his wife came off a bit pretentious. I was there for probably about thirty minutes at the most looking through their assortment of different craft beers. I was putting several into a cardboard box they had given me when the lady who co-owns the place walked up to me and asked if there was something she could help me with. I told her no that I was just looking around. She said, in a very snooty manner I might add, we have a 24 beer limit and proceeded to give me some lame excuse as to why which I immediately ignored. After I felt as if my business wasn’t wanted I decided to pay for what I bought. When I brought it up to the counter to check out she had the audacity to say “well that took you long enough.” This is not how you keep customers and a great way to lose them. I asked her if they were about to close soon, thinking maybe that’s why she seemed to be rushing me out, but she said no we have a few hours more we’ve just been going all day. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? It’s as if they didn’t really want my business even though every Christmas I give them my business and close to 100 dollars in alcohol (which by the way doesn’t give you all that much considering everything they sell is overpriced). They just lost a longtime customer in me. It’s probably for the best. There are places in the greenwood area that are far less expensive and carry more varieties of craft beers than this place like Corleys and Publix even. I’m only giving it two stars because the man that owns the place is a nice guy but his wife’s attitude cost him a customer. My suggestion is to stay away from this place."
"Love the way they shelve bees by type. I can find the dark beers I love without trying to read the highly artistic labels."
"Great little place we hit at a slow time. Great selection of beers and wine."
"Great selection of beers and always good choices on tap!"
"Enjoyed the solo guitarist on a Friday night at this hopping joint in downtown (uptown) Greenwood. Lively crowd that didn't know what hit them with 8 of us walking in there. Gentleman pouring the beers knew what to recommend and we enjoyed the songs with a bunch of our new friends."
