"I had have amazing experiences at Envision. I am not comfortable w checking myself in and they never object. Most appointments fit my schedule well. I felt listened to and guided rather than dictated to as well as am able to work together on a plan for progress."
"It was a terrible experience; the counselor had no respect for the customer and didn't want to listen; the only she did was push what she believed and blame the patient."
"If I could give a no star review I would. I don’t have access to childcare and had to bring my daughter with me. I didn’t even get in to see the counselor for my initial appointment before I was asked to leave because I had my daughter with me. The only saving grace this place has is Cookie the secretary who was an angel."
"I was referred here in 2020 through my EAP and actually walked out on my first session. They require a preliminary assessment and questionnaire (which is common and not unreasonable for most counselors or therapists to ask on a first visit), but the counselor was extremely judgmental before we even got into a real session, and I could not handle it. I was going through probably one of the most trying times of my life and opened up more than I should have. It was a very vulnerable state I was in and felt completely embarrassed and humiliated being in her office. After walking out, she never followed up or checked in. I have since found a great therapist elsewhere and am doing much better, but I would be warry of this company that hires counselors such as her."
"I knew that we had a very unsatisfactory experience here, but I tried to chalk it up to the pandemic. On more than one occasion we had therapists to make promises that they could not fulfill. As a parent and a person this is a huge red flag from me. It was always hard to actually speak to a person. After care ended with no closure, four months later a new issue has arisen that started me on a new search for adolescent and family therapy. Imagine my surprise when therapists I had no relationship with whatsoever called me back promptly, listened to our needs, and made very helpful suggestions. We had gone to Envision from a recommendation—maybe they used to be good. No matter how long it takes you to find a therapist it will probably be worth to avoid the negative consequences of dealing with these folks. Other therapists, good therapists, will make referrals if their calendar is booked."
