"My mother is there. It’s the worst most unorganised place I have ever seen! Very unprofessional, disregard for humans, absolutely no compassion to these patients. My mother went from being enthusiastic about her recovery, to depressed. Facilities like this should remember without your patients the facility would not be there! When a patient arrives you should have their medication ready, a decent bed that isn’t wobbly, a competent staff, and edible food. Seems like DHEC needs to go in and do a sweep on assisted living and rehabilitation facilities! This is almost inhumane!!!"
"My client was here and said it was horrible. A nurse name Dora did not give her the reflux med that she needed. She kept ringing the button and she wouldn't come and then my client vomited and noone went to change her and get cleaned up. That's just pathetic. Dora needs to be fired bc this isn't the first complaint about her. So that says alot."
"Manna Rehabilitation and healthcare has a very friendly staff and a nice environment from what I've seen. Definitely looks like one of the nicer places to take care of elderly members of your family and to help get them healthy enough to take care of themselves again. Staying there when you're elderly would have to much better than being at home alone all the time especially if you need help. Pictures from Christmas 2022."
"If I could give a negative review I would give a negative instead of just a one! My mother-in-law has severe Alzheimer’s was sent there because it was supposed to be a good rehabilitation facility and she had been turned down at other facilities due to her Medicare. Not only did she lose 4 pounds in the first week there she had fallen then the second fall came and when they notified me And I asked what it happened they said we were sitting at there at the desk and she stood up from her wheelchair and fell on her left hip. I said so we need an x-ray and the lady assured me that she was not in pain and did not need an x-ray she also went as far as to ask her associate the male working with her if he thought she needed an x-ray to his reply no she’s fine! I insisted on the x-ray ! We were supposed to hear back in four hours (this was in the evening 5:04pm to be exact) the next day I called still no answers, then an hour and a half later they called me back and she has a broken femur! So you’re not going to tell me that she did not show any signs of pain because when I got to her at the ER she was showing plenty signs of pain! There are no alarms on beds no alarms on chairs the staff are completely unprofessional dressed unprofessionally with even very disrespectful logos and sayings on their shirts and I’m not saying all of them but they were a few. And the one nurse that really was trying to “befriend “ us because she loved our mother so much, when I told her what it happened and asked who was on duty that night that called me I never got a reply and this was from her personal cell phone! Now not only has my mother-in-law been in the hospital recovering from a partial hip replacement and a femur fracture but it’s gotten now so severe that we are bringing her home on hospice care! I would not send my dog to this place! You do not have to accept the rehabs that the hospitals are shoving down your throat to clear a bed! You find a person that is a pitbull and will help you to find the best facility for your loved one and you let that person lead you and they are out there trust me I found one! And my mother-in-law was only there for 19 days and all of this occurred in a 19 day period of time so imagine if there is a loved one you have that is there for longer and if you do have a loved one there get them moved immediately!"
"My Grandmother is there now.. She had to be placed on a 10 day quarantine due to Covid protocol, so we solely depend on the facility communication, which has been almost impossible. We have had such a hard time getting in touch with a nurse, and the front desk just transfers you to a continuous ring. Every time I have spoken to my Grandmother (on her personal phone) she is sick or shaken up with anxiety. Zero excuses for a facility to be ran this way."
