"Went in for routine lab work. I usually use Labcorp. After signing a no surprise form, I was surprised by the entire process… the out of pocket cost was 4x’s more than my previous. After having labs drawn I was given a bill for nearly $600 based on ‘my insurance’ coverage which I paid at time of service. Then received another bill for over $200 more in the mail. Ladies at check on were extremely rude. It took over three weeks to get results. Compared to no more than 2 days at Labcorp. And, They still sent some testing to Labcorp. Lab technician was the only positive part of the process. I recently moved here and Anmed is 30 mins closer. But, I will never go back to Anmed for labs or any other reason!"
"My wife and I are very pleased with this hospital. Everyone is so nice and very helpful. This hospital is very clean"
"I went to the ER with legs infection I was coming across the parking lot and my legs give out and I feel I'm on blood thinners so I was laying there a bloody mess. A nurse getting off work saw me and went and got me help they took me straight back and started working on me. But my legs were in bad shape. So I ended up staying 4 days. I tell you what the hospital food was out of sight. They made some real changes to the hospital in the best way. I would recommend them to anyone"
"Listen if you’re like in a pinch and this place is nearby and you have nowhere else to go because your broke a finger or something like that then this place will work but honestly otherwise I would just avoid this place. The building in general needs some serious updating and in my opinion the doctors as well. I mean the nurses were great and they were all nice and asked me questions and listened to the answers but then when the doctor came in he didn’t even greet me or nothing he looked like someone needed to take HIM to the ER, he asked me ONE question and didn’t even let me finish answering it, breezed through seeing me (I mean he was in the room for MAYBE 2 minutes) and essentially blew me off and any concerns I had. The whole thing just kind of felt like I didn’t get the reassurance or proper care thatI needed. I NEVER bring myself to the doctor and I really needed medical attention and I debated going because I didn’t want to go and not be taken seriously or basically experience exactly what I experienced. I never saw the doctor again after that maybe two minutes and a nurse came in said “ready to go?” gave me some pills and a script and sent me on my way. Alternatively though I did not wait that long, I went on a Sunday night there was only one other person ahead of me. I was in and out in an hour give or take. The process seemed somewhat efficient. That’s the only reason it has any redemption along with the nurses."
"Last night was the first time I've had to take my 2 year old to the ER. Throwing up with a barking cough and lethargic. Symptoms that just hit out of nowhere. Dr. Caldwell seemed clueless. He told me it was definitely RSV then he ordered a chest xray and a swab for RSV. RSV came back negative so he shrugged and sent us home without an answer and just gave us some medications that we had to administer to her ourselves in the room which she just threw up as they discharged us. I even decided to go here even though it is out of network for our insurance because it is closer to us and due to the severity. I was so frustrated when we left. 2 hours later, I called the on call nurse for her pediatrician with my frustration and she gave me more insight and help than the doctor at Cannon did. I felt like we were brushed under the rug. My daughter has since been diagnosed with Croup and we are having to monitor her closely. As a worried parent, this situation should've been handled so differently. The concern was not there at all. Next time I will make the drive to a Prisma hospital. My daughter deserved better."
