"What a surprise this place was for breakfast. We stayed at this beautiful hotel and went here for breakfast and what a view. Staff was great, and the food was so good. I just wish I could have eaten more. They have outside seating and it is also a bar which I'm sure is great at night. But if all I know is if you are in the area breakfast here is a must."

"I am rating breakfast at the Thompson Savannah. It's held daily on the top floor in Bar Julien. The shrimp and rice grits was spectacular. The most unusual and delicious breakfast I've had in decades. I love barbecue shrimp, congee, and fried shrimp. Somehow this dish combined all of those textures and flavors into something better than the parts. I'm not a grits person, but i love rice. I'm now a huge fan of rice grits. Service was good. The view is stunning."

"What a roof-top location right on the Savannah River! At night, you can get the best view of the sunset in town and during the day, you can watch massive cargo ships navigate through the Savannah River. They have amazing, photo-worthy cocktails that change up quite a bit and their food is SO GOOD! Their flatbread and pita dough is the best I've had. Quite a few of their dishes have a yummy Mediterranean twist. A sunset cocktail at bar Julian is an amazing way to start the night in Savannah. Skip the over-priced hamburgers and frozen hangovers and Wet Willies and go to bar Julian instead."
