"I wanted to love this as a coworking spot, but i don’t feel it was designed with users in mind. The main pods are awkward to work in, because the table is off to the side of you and there’s no way to rotate it to be in front of you. You have to sit sideways on the chair to face your computer. The private pods are cramped and have a high stool, the least comfortable type of chair ever to work in! I also couldn’t get the monitor to work properly in mine as the brightness was very very low and unable to be changed. It feels like they were more focused on making this place aesthetic than actually comfortable to use. I love the concept and the service has always been great but unfortunately I’d rather just work at one of the local quiet coffee shops where I can sit in a normal chair."

"As a young content creator, I had the pleasure of visiting VEL work cafe in Savannah whilst I was travelling for a project. It completely blew me away! The cafe served exceptional coffee and had these amazing soundproof duo pods that were perfect for getting work done, riverside meetings and editing my content without any distractions. The attention to detail in their brews and the sleek atmosphere made my experience truly memorable, if I ever find myself in Savannah again I will definitely be back! VEL work cafe is a must-visit for any content creator in need of a productive and inspiring workspace. I wish we had one in London!"

"The second I walked inside Vel Workspace I KNEW it was going to be my best friend!!! AND boy is it ever!!! I usually come to Vel at least once a week and at the beginning of every month to get s*** done! The staff is always super friendly and always so helpful! The pods are really nice and accommodating! My first time at Vel I ordered a coffee and had a zoom meeting inside the solo pod and I fell in love!!! You can ether book a pod on their app or walk in and book it. They also have a variety of drinks including my favorite Spring Forward. I highly recommend this place for students or business owners or anyone like me who has a growing to-do list!"

"Great place for remote working, since that’s the point of the cafe as well, definitely a better option than hogging a table at a regular cafe. I signed up for the free trial of their subscription at night and the next day I was given a link via email to download their app and reserve a seat. Ended up getting one of their spaces and it was $1 for every 30 minutes. Pros: - A full work day was $16. - The staff was extremely friendly - private wifi connection with each seat reserved - clean bathroom - nice atmosphere and clean Cons: - The seat wasn’t the most comfortable(no back support) - the table was a little too short for video calls but I made it work by tilting to the side. - like with any public work spaces it can get a little loud when people are on calls and don’t realize their volume"
