"I went to the location in gaffney last night and the employees are very rude. I went to go check out and the cashier was on her phone and she didn’t say a word to me as she scanned my items. There was also another employee who was trying on clothes and talking about which ones she is going to buy. The last time I went there was a couple months ago and the girls were loud and unprofessional. I like going to American eagle especially since this store is cheaper now but I really don’t want to go to this location due to the employees being unprofessional and immature."

"i’ve been shopping here for years, they no longer carry long jeans so that’s a turn off but the customer service is always perfect! I get plenty of help if i return an online purchase or going to shop their clearance in hopes to find some online returns for half price! last time i was there i found 3 pair of shorts that they were selling online for almost $50, i got in clearance for $25, bc they didn’t sell them in the store they were put in clearance for half price. that’s enough to go every day and see what all they have available in clearance!!! REALLY!"

"Gaffney S.C. American Eagle employee TH3045 shame on you !! Sooo.. Merry Christmas was not the experience I had shopping at the Gaffney SC American Eagle store on Christmas Eve! The employee girl who will remain nameless but goes by employee # TH3045 was a nightmare. I was offered to sign up for the rewards program to use a coupon on my next purchase. When the friend I was with began to pay for her items I suggested she use my coupon and the cashier immediately said that’s not possible and I had to wait two weeks to use the coupon which is not what I was led to believe when signing up. Now we all now that when the cashier gets customers to sign up for things offered they get browny points from the retailer. I didn’t mind that part but I do mind the information being misrepresented. When attempting to ask more about the coupon I was cut off by her rude and agitated response-I DID NOT TELL YOU THAT! I was so taken aback that she was so nasty and if I had been thinking I would have returned the $400 worth of merchandise I had just purchased. Also, I purchased the items at 4:30pm and when I checked my email later that evening the coupon was immediately sent at 4:34pm so she was clearly clueless. I know it’s hard to get employees these days but a little investment in how the business works and customer service skills or at least a skills test Would be beneficial. American Eagle please do better! Very disappointed and I have four daughters who like to shop there but no more."

"Their online store is one of the only places that sells medium tall clothes for my 6'3" 135 pound son. And my 6' tall 125 pound daughter can find pants on their website that are long enough for her! I just wish they sold some of the tall clothes in the store."

"I thought with this being a factory outlet they would have better deals but you're better off just shopping at the regular store. They didn't really have any bigger sizes either here. Their clearance rack is kind of messy and hard you sort through."
