Winton Inn & Suites

"When arriving there was no staff at deck, had to call a number left on counter to get someone . After checking in I got put in room upstairs and there was no one there staying parking lot was empty. Room was nasty , microwave was rusty and nasty. Room had hole in walls stains on walls . Bath room rack was falling off. Went to leave and go to another hotel and they said they couldn’t refund my money . So I didn’t have enough to get another hotel. Place was run down in court yard, nothing like the pictures online. Rooms looked like they started to renovate but never finished.asked for receipt and they said it would be emailed, because they system was down . Never got a receipt"

"This is a gem of a place in Barnwell. The age of the building means you get spacious rooms that still have their original charm with updates. The grounds host a lovely brick courtyard area. The staff is very welcoming as well. Bonus-you have a wonderful restaurant called Eat Street on the property!"

"Initially the room looked nice. It wasn't until early morning that we discovered that we were sleeping on a mattress that was tainted and soiled with urine, blood and only God knows what else. The pillows weren't any better! Usually we would check these areas before going to sleep. But, we were so tired and forgot. We got fooled by the 1st look as we walked in. Don't let this happen to you! This was a horrible experience!!"

"Stayed here for a week on business because I read some positive reviews online. Initially thought room was clean, but on closer inspection there was almost an inch of dust on window and door trim, and there was dirt in the corner of the bathroom. My room was not cleaned or trash emptied on the last 3 days of my stay. On the last night of stay, I had to bag up all the trash in my room because the cans were overflowing. There was no one in the office (closed) that night to help."
