"Update: Went recently and I do see the attempt at upgrading the store. Looks alil cleaner. New self checkout. Not bad. Messy, darkly lit areas, over stuffed, only one register/ and register has been cash only for the longest apparently. All the vibes of a small town that time forgot, and that I will soon forget to."

"One of the nastiest stores I've been in. Nearly every aisle was blocked by carts or boxes making it awkward anytime 2 people tried to cross in an aisle. Extremely hard to find things as most of the shelves had product thrown all about. It's as if the employees never tidy the shelves. Didn't interact with any employees so I can't give input on their demeanor, but the filth of the store was enough for me."
"Dollar General is always awesome when it comes to making sure that you can run in and grab something quick. This location specifically is good but the store associates/cashiers are hit and miss. Meaning you may get one that is awesome and greets you properly and has a bit of a convo while checking out, while another not so much as to crack a smile and yesterday that's what I got dirty looks and a a board straight face. Due to this and the fact that you HAVE to have the digital app to get certain savings...I'm rating it a 3/5 (you are not Walmart so stop pricing things as such, your supposed to be a dollar store)."
