Matthew DeMarco, MD

"Dr. Matthew DiMarco is single-handedly the worst doctor I have ever been to in my entire life! He was extremely dismissive and every single test that I wanted to have done including common blood tests, MRI, Etc were denied. He had absolutely no reason to deny the things that I wanted, I am a private pay patient and do not have insurance that requires approval or anything of that nature. After begging to have him send a referral to a rheumatologist, he told me that he does not believe that I should see rheumatologist, but if I absolutely insist that he will send a referral. But before that, he also said that rheumatologist around here DO NOT require a referral and also they do not require any blood tests prior. So he gave me the referral, but on his referral, he only included 2 out of the 10 symptoms that I have been having every single day for the past year. That evening I called the rheumatologist and left a message to be scheduled, the next morning they called me back letting me know that I would 100% have to have a referral and I would also need an ANA blood test that came back positive done prior to being scheduled at the rheumatology clinic. Also, during my appointment with the doctor DeMarco, I told him about 25 symptoms, and at the end of telling them all. The reason why he did not want to send me to a rheumatology clinic was alot of my symptoms are completely normal. I promise you this! The symptoms that I am having are absolutely not normal. They are extremely debilitating, and to be completely dismissed by a doctor is not just annoying, but it is disheartening!! After leaving his office I sat in my car and cried! Over the past year, I have had such terrible symptoms, and no one can seem to figure it out. I came to Dr. DeMarco after moving to South Carolina About a week ago, hoping that he would have the brains to listen and understand that I need help and figuring out what is going on. I will never return back to Dr. DeMarco, even if he was the last MD on earth. He does not deserve to be a doctor. He deserves to have his license revoked, and his practice completely shut down. I am giving him a one out of five stars because there is no option to give him a negative hundred stars."

"Initial visit with Dr. DeMarco. He is a very nice young doctor that was interested in my minor problems and suggested several things to do to improve my health. I think he is up on the new procedures and medicines. So far, so good."
