"I'm sad to report that General Elliott Inn closed its doors in late July 2021. Kay has sold the business and moved to Florida.. This has been a favorite place for us for birthday and anniversary celebrations, and excellent wine tasting events, for around ten years. Kay General (and her husband Steve Elliott before his passing) were always gracious and friendly hosts."

"Fantastic atmosphere, staff, and food! The sauces are superb and the potatoes had a delicious roux base. Steak prepared to perfection and the best Caesar salad I have ever had! Once again, the sauce! It must have taken days to reduce the sauces to that level of intensity! Go enjoy for yourself if you can! I recommend highly!"

"We have dined at The General Elliott Inn 4 times over the last few years. It is always a pleasure! Kay and Steve are the most gracious hosts and nothing goes unnoticed. The food is delicious, generous portions, and served with flair. There is a group of 8 of us that go for a special night out and there are never any regrets among us! Last evening we sat out on the beautiful quiet veranda having cocktails and appetizers for an hour and were so relaxed! Kay called us in for dinner as as usual our dinners were fantastic! No need was left unnoticed by Kay and her staff. If you are looking for that quiet, slow paced, no rush, dining experience it is worth the drive! We felt as if we were guests in a friends home. If anyone rated The General Elliott Inn less than 5 stars, then that is someone that just can't be pleased anywhere."
