"If you like to be treated like a number, enjoy waiting in line, and dislike personalized interaction with your caregivers, this is the place for you. Did I mention the hold times when you are trying to speak with a human? It is a fabulous way to waste your time! 10-20 minutes on hold, then if you are lucky, you might get someone who transfers you to another department and then another department to one more person who can't provide you with the information you need! You know, it has that "Wild Goosechase" vibe but with higher stakes - your health! It has been without question, the worst experience with a medical provider that I have ever had..."

"The schedulers were so nice and accommodating.. helped get me in earlier with a cancellation. For whatever reason, I received a text reminder for the appointment but when I arrived my appt couldn’t be found. I drove 1.5 hours for this appointment, I was worried I was in for having to reschedule. I spoke with Neesha on the second floor check in who not only was very upbeat, kind, and Professional… but she spoke with the MD office and was able to get me worked in. This was my first experience with MUSC West Ashley and I’m very impressed. Worth the drive for this kind of medical professionalism."

"Patient schedulers are rude and unprofessional, they are not helpful and they are smart a$$es with their attitude. Musc has gone down over the years. I grew up going to MUSC and now travel 3 hours to get to the “ best hospital “ in South Carolina now I’m not sure I trust the medical team if the attitude is negative. I’m gonna change doctors and hospital altogether I’m heart broken hurt and damned mad! I wouldn’t carry a stray dog to this place right now! It doesn’t do any good to talk to patient liason they don’t do anything and they cover up for fellow employees. That’s the sort of thing that will bring the hospital down I would have given 0 stars if I could have because this sort of treatment is definitely 0 stars. They no more care about their patients than the man in the moon! This sucks and I would discourage using them. Roper saint Francis is a better hospital and they actually care how patients get treated."

"Fraudulent billing that doesn’t seem to be any concern of the billing department, so I’m changing physicians. I always pay my copay at the visit and then I see on MyChart that they aren’t applying the payment to my visit, so I get a bill for another copay. They also like to code 1 visit as 2 or 3 visits and I’ll get another bill for those. After months of back and forth with the billing department, I get the same “thank you for choosing MUSC health” and no answers and no refunds. Edit: the patient care liaison was already contacted and I received no response."
