"Extremely bad situation at this place. Absolutely ridiculous mess. They refused to allow me to speak to management about my interaction with a counselor that became aggressive. This occured after refusing to sign paperwork where the counselor wrongly quoted my words. Instead of clarifying the situation calmly, he became agitated then aggressive and rather hostile during the moments. He told me to leave the building immediately upon my notice that a mistake had been made. Then blocked my path while attempting to understand a building layout that I had only previously learned. He stood at guard while I asked "how do I even leave?" I was lost in the hall...and he pointed, wordless with a cold, harsh stare. (I came here to address PTSD & possible autism concerns & I got treated like a dog. I was back into a panic honestly and I am very seriously considering filing a legal complaint against this establishment and employee.) I attempted to speak to the front desk attendant. Where she, also refused to allow me to speak with any management regarding this situation. This place is geared for probation clients and offers services for clients like myself that cannot afford treatment that we aim to achieve. Instead, I was treated aggressively. There has been zero follow-up with the complaint I filed. This happened yesterday morning during a first visit assessment."
"Do not come here if you have probationer/DFCS evaluations to get done. When you call to set up your walk-in appt, the staff does not tell you that your case worker/PO needs to sign a request form & they will not see you if you don’t have it signed. Made my process longer by three weeks & was stressful. This not only happened to me, but to two other people on separate days. I had to come in the first time- was told to do a walk in assessment & was faced with this issue. I have yet to see the professional I was sent here to see, so this review is based on just the initiating processes alone- which are terrible & waste people’s time. ETA: The staff themselves in the physical building are all doing their best with what they can. Obviously the state of communications is a result of lack of support from the State & local government. I really enjoyed my time with the staff I interacted with & I wish the best for those who work here."
"I spoke to the "supervisor" here today who wouldn't answer my questions about what forms of ID are accepted because I was not the one in need of services. They refused my friend services because she is awaiting an ID, after saying they would be willing to accept notarized proof of address. I still don't know which is true. They said we could call the Crisis line if she was truly in Crisis. The supervisor even asked me DIRECTLY if I was the "friend" I was talking about. Never in my life have I been so condescended by a woman who is supposedly in mental Healthcare. I live in Texas, my friend is new to Georgia and it seemed like this lady had it in her head that because I was angry, clearly I was the one who was struggling. No. I'm angry because you gave me conflicting information and are bad at your job. This is why people commit suicide. Our options are the state hospital, being ignored by the county we LIVE in and can show proof of address for, or nothing. This is why people keep dying. I cannot believe the woman I spoke to is supposedly in charge of a place that is meant to help people who are in need of help and in Crisis. She is definitely in the wrong field."
"I have been coming here for about 2 years and Ashley is always super sweet. They have always been professional and they have automated calls to remind you of your upcoming appointments. I'm very sad to see such bad reviews on here. I guess the only people that bother with a review is the people who have bad experiences. They have helped me so much!"
"We got discharged because they kept setting too many appointments each WEEK which was too much. But get penalized when late. The lady upfront only gave me one card and then when it was time for the appointment, they would tell me I had a nursing assessment that I was not aware of So I ended up with a DNR or whatever its called. LIKE LAST TIME. The lady at the front desk keeps telling me she gave me information that she didn't. She even wrote the wrong date on my card one time and the lady in the back corrected it and told me that they are not that good upfront. We left and found a different doctor.. My daughter had to go to a crisis center and she was outpatient they referred us back to them and the same thing started happening we had an appointment last month we were late a few minutes but were penalized then she gave me a card for an appointment today I depend on my parents for transportation so my parents have to go to Hinesville Georgia and I called At 11 no 1 answered I called at 12 no answer and VM full so I waited till 1 to reschedule the appointment. The lady at the front desk said I will be penalized because I was supposed to have called within 24 hours but I just found out that my parents had to be together because my mom had to drive my dad after his surgery. THEN She also added that I had an appointment on the 30th for a nursing assessment but I only had a card for today but she says she gave me a piece of paper and I told her that it would have been wiser to give me 2 cards So that I can go ahead and mark my calendar. I was not paying attention to the paper if I even got one I don't even remember getting a paper but anyway, because you put the appointment on the card .. but not the other one, but she said she can see in her system when she informed me but never DID"
